I just...no. I see this chick who's obsessed with them's art all over DA when I'm searching for TLK pictures and it pisses me off. If anything Shenzi's considered a confidant or an advisor NOT a love interest. He's too quick to throw her and the other two under the bus when Simba confronts him. Just NO.

NO.
I don't know why this ship gets under my skin so much but I just despise it. It doesn't work in my mind. Yes they have similar powers- Yaarp has the air horn that lets him emit a sonic blast that makes people lose their hearing for a short amount of time, and Belle can emit a scream that scares people. That's the bane of it.
YOU DON'T JUST SHIP EXPERIMENTS SOLELY BASED OFF OF THEIR POWERS. OH MY GOD NO. I mean, look at DWoW with 627 and Spats! Their powers are nowhere near similar (in fact I'm not too sure 627 has any "real" powers besides being more enhanced than Stitch, correct me if I'm wrong though), but why does the ship work. PERSONALITY. NOT POWERS.
I think the only thing that annoys me more than the copious amount of fanart of this ship is the fact that people turn Belle into an overprotective bitch too...can anyone say Sparky's Two-Tone?

Yup, unfortunately. There are various bits of fanart of Yaarp and Belle on dA that have them pretty much devoted to each other, and it makes met think of a certain person's portrayal of a certain horseshoe puppy and a certain half-black puppy.

Ariel x Jim-Ok i don't hate this couple. I really don't but it so...ugh! overdone and over used. I don't really care for Jim x Melody but at least i can handle it. Jim x Ariel just meh!!

I mean...
I suppose I get how people could come up with it. But I liked the fact that (spoiler ahead; highlight to read) it wasn't romantic love that saved Anna. That's unusual in Disney fairytales, made it unique; and it sort of loses something, in my opinion, if you then push that as the grounds for a pairing. Very strong sibling bond, absolutely... romantic pairing? Yeah... NO.

Personally I really don't like Jack Frost/Elsa (wish I could block it on tumblr, it's EVERYWHERE x.x). I mean because they seem to be solely paired since both control ice/snow and are judged negatively by their peers/friends/etc. in their respective movies. To me those aren't really reasons to pair 2 characters together. And I'm also not a fan of it since it'd be a 'studio crossover' pairing (CN charxnick char, disney charxdreamworks char, etc), which would be impossible to happen (unlike 'in studio' crossovers, like 2 disney chars from different movies would be more likely.)
I know a lot of people like it and that's okay!! I just wish it wasn't shoved in my face all the time >x<

And while I CAN see it, since both were estranged and could potentially accidentally misread something (speculation, I don't ship them, I think I'm just in need of femslash right now) IIII would rather it not be a thing XD; since that would defeat the point of the film. Also I totally respect your not shipping Jelsa. I feel the same as you do towards Jack/Rapunzel. For me, I ship Jack/Elsa because they'd offer a lot for each other emotionally. Elsa is refined, mature, restrained and knotted by fear- Jack is lonely, a little childish, carefree and of course has control over his powers. They kind of possess what the other doesn't and as a ship, I really think they could teach each other a lot and help the other realize they aren't alone, someone out there understands and they don't need to live in the dark forever c: |

Bolt/Mittens
Why. Why. Why, why, why, why, why, why, WHY is it so impossible for there to be a platonic relationship between a male and female Disney character? Not to get me wrong, I'm not opposed to dog and cat pairings. I just don't see it with Bolt and Mittens. She starts out thinking he's crazy, rightfully so, and is only with Bolt on his mission to get Penny back because he tied her to him. She warms up to him overtime, but I don't ever see it being a romantic thing. A friendship, definitely. Love? Not as far as I can tell. She cares about him, yes, but because she doesn't want him to get hurt by humans like she was. But Mittens sticks with him anyway.
XP I just don't see it as love.
