@lyra - Yep, because she's the same species as Gin and Weed! Well, for the most part. Gin is full Akita, Weed is Akita/Kishu, and Evita is Akita/Border Collie. C:

That would be cool, but I doubt it, since Evita's mother was purebred. If she was Gin's cousin or something, she'd be pretty dang old. XD

Well, I drew a picture of these two for my friend awhile ago, and I guess the pairing grew on me. They probably wouldn't work (well, naturally, as interspecies generally doesn't), but I still like them.

I imagine as a cub that Vitani was very competitive, wanting to fight alot and tussle with her siblings (ex. Kovu). Now, Todd's a nice enough kid when he's young, but you half to remember he is a playful little thing and he always seems to, even unintentionally, upstage Copper. Copper's the only person he ever hangs around, so he probably does have a mindset that he's better than others at a lot of things. He's also never hung around girls, and like a lot of young kids, probably has it in his mind that girls are weaker and can't do the things guys can. Naturally, he thinks this of Vitani. Well, Vitani wouldn't take things like this lying down, especially since it means putting an overly-cocky guy in his place. Of course, Todd thinks he'd win against her easily.

Well, surprise surprise, he didn't.

And while obviously embarrassed at losing, he can't deny that he's impressed with her. He'd hang around her more, too, along with Copper, and they'd cause mischief and have fun, and compete, but all in good fun, no hard feelings.

I could definitely see Copper, Tod, and Tani as a little trio. ^ ^
Who knows what kinds of trouble they would get into. <3
