"Yeah, we're a- aachoo!" A harsh sneeze broke Lilly's words almost automatically. She let out a small growl as she swiped her hand under her nose again and eyed the unicorn carefully.
"You gotta excuse my counterpart, she's ill at the moment," Roxie told the pair apologetically. "And yeah, we're on the ghost hunt thing. I think the majority of them are on it, whether it be a dare or what. I dunno. I'm just here for extra-credit at school, and Lilly's here because I needed a partner. And what better partner to take than your girlfriend, right?" She smiled at the pair of the unicorn and girl.
Lilly however, just followed limply, shivering at the chilling winds blowing in from all sides.

Out of the bushes there was a rustle and two sheepdogs came clamoring out of the brush. One was gray, scruffy and a male, the other had on a blue scarf and was red and female. Fox and Mooch were now a part of this team. Fox's tail wagged while Mooch stood beside her, chest puffed out and a snarl on his muzzle.
"I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" Fox said with a laugh, "Let's go already! I'm ready to face these creepy critters head on!" Mooch nodded beside her.
"Yeah, any ghost who messes with us will have to deal with me!" He said, raising his head to the sky haughtily. Batting her eye lashes, Fox gave Mooch a smile.

"Pepper! I said I didn't want to come!"
"Oh, you're just being a downer, TT."
"You're impossible, did you know that?"
Pepper gave her sister a smile "Why yes, yes I did know that. And besides, Patches couldn't come, so I decided to take you!"
Two-Tone rolled her emerald eyes. "Whatever, as long as we don't--well what have we here?" the black-eared pup strode over to Fox and Mooch. "Hey Fox, hey Mooch. What brings you here?"

Marie rolled her eyes. Dogs. She was surrounded by dogs. She never really liked them but...well they were just starting to make her uncomfortable, considering that most creatures here were dogs. besides the raccoon she was with

"True. That's pretty much the same reason I brought Bob here. But..it's more for fun than a project that we came here." Taylor said, remaining in the same position as the chilly winds blew over her frame. She shivered violently, before speaking again. "We must be close...every time there's a ghost in the vicinity, temperatures drop." she said.
Bob snorted, and lowered his nose to the ground, sniffing once more for something. "Bob, what exactly are you trying to find?" Taylor asked, shifting herself so that now, she was lying on her stomach, head propped up by her arms, on his back. The unicorn swished his long tail impatiently, almost smacking Lilly in the face.
"Sorry y'all. Didn't mean to." Bob said to Lilly, before directing his attention back to Taylor. "Lookin' for ghosts, y'all." he said. The girl rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Bob. You can't find ghosts like you can animals. They don't have a scent. They're dead." Taylor stated. The unicorn's head whipped up.
"Really y'all? I thought they were just zombies." Bob said. Taylor shook her head. "You poor kid. First you don't know hair is bad to eat..and next, you don't know ghosts are dead." she said.

Lilly coughed at the long magenta tail whipping against the side of her pallid face. She rubbed it with her free hand, feeling the burning cheek against the frigid skin. "Well... that hurt," she muttered grumpily. She was thinking of some way to insult him, but nothing came to mind- too tired and too sick for it. Figured.
Roxie however giggled at Bob. She liked the duo. They were funny.
"Say, what are your names?" Roxie inquired, giving a friendly smile to them. "We're all on this hunt together, we might as well get to know each other."

Taylor grinned and nodded. "Might as well." she said, before clearing her throat. "Name's Taylor. Taylor Ruse. Hometown's Chicago." she said, before turning to Bob.
"And this is Bob. I don't know where he came from, but all I know is that he's gay. And he hates saddles and reins." she said, with a laugh. Bob's tail came up to smack her in the face. Rubbing her now red cheek, she glared at the unicorn. "What was that for?!" she yelped.
"Y'all know what it was for. Don't y'all pretend like a certain part of y'all's life never happened." Bob said, keeping his head facing forward.

Tamu looked up at Bob. She started to tremble. She had never seen a creature like that in the Pridelands before. "H-H-Hi Bob. You're not goin' to e-e-eat me are you?" Tamu asked quietly. "What if he's one of those ghost things?" Tamu thought, getting very paranoid yet again.

Bob's ears perked as Tamu's shy voice piped up. "Oh hay..." Bob said, pushing his face a little closer. His tail began to wag like a dog's, except it seemed that he'd forgotten how long it was. Anyone who was behind had the potential of being smacked in the face by accident. He shook his head, and grinned at the small lion. "I'm not gonna hurt y'all." Bob said.
"He wouldn't even hurt a fly." Taylor said. She then turned to Lilly and Roxie, sighing deeply. " I suppose I should tell you two what I failed to mention earlier, since we're going to be here a while. You see...I'm not what you'd consider "normal". I'm an ex-convict from SuperJail." Taylor said. "But before you freak out...no, I'm not going to kill you all. How I ended up there was because of a really bad accident. I killed my boyfriend because I was so jumpy back then. I haven't had the best luck with guys." she said.
Pausing to fix her hair, she then continued. "I was brought to SuperJail while I was asleep, and honestly, I thought Bob was fake. He brought me up to meet the Warden of SuperJail, and it was he that relieved me of my life sentence, if and only if I worked under him as an assassin with Bob. And that's how Bob and I became friends." Taylor said, finishing her story with a nod. She'd failed to mention a lot of her past life, but at the moment, she was simply too lazy.

At that point, Lilly was just flat-out freaked out. Really? They really had to share a hunt with an ex-convict?
"Take be hobe, Rox. Please."
Roxie just rolled her eyes and smiled at the pair. Sure, she was a little creeped out by the story, but it didn't matter. She was nice to them, that's what mattered at the moment, right? "That's pretty cool! Bob seems like a great guy to hang around with."

"He is, most definitely. But like I said, he wouldn't hurt a fly..that is, unless they're a Sue. Then he'd take all measures to eliminate them". Taylor said, with a laugh. But inwardly, she was a bit saddened by the way Lilly had acted, simply because of her old actions. But..it was expected. Someone just couldn't listen to her story and not be scared, right?
