What do you hate that everyone seems to like?

okay i don't hate it but i really just don't understand it and am kind of losing interest in it.

Melody/Jim-I do not understand how this couple came around! Why do people think its sooo cute? I mean yeah they do look interesting together but wouldn't jim be an adult already because he's like what...18 in his movie and Melody is 12? Like i said, i don't hate it but i am really started to get iffy about it. Can someone care to explain what is so special about this couple?

another thing i hate,

Booty shorts-How, how how did this become a fashion statement. They are gross. I would prefer not to see some people walking around in a tank top and booty shorts. Call me a bitch but sometimes they are just gross

Jim was 15 in his movie That's not really a very significant age difference.

Plus, she's about the only person I can personally see Jim paired with at all - and you've gotta admit, it's better than pairing him with Airhead Ariel, like people seem to like doing

Honestly... Age gap pairings.
I absolutely cannot stand them. Someone dating someone older or younger than them by over two years is just WEIRD to me.
There are some exceptions to the rule of course. But mostly... Ugh. Even in real life, people more than one year apart who are dating just rubs me the wrong way. :S
I have no idea why it weirdos me out so much but it does.
However, I know you guys like some of them, and I accept that. C:

Getting tired of the MLP hype.

Honestly? I like the show and it's pretty decent for its time when there's so much crappy kid stuff on TV... but the hype is really making me start to dislike it.

I get tired of seeing freakin PONIES everywhere!! They're in people's journals, here, on deviantART, people make their own FCs and .... ugh. I get tired of seeing it.

I watched an episode today and was like ... blegh. This is overdone. It took some of the fun out of it for me.

I'm getting kind of sick of it too Mizan. I still like a bit of fan art and fan music for the show, but I'm starting to burn out a bit on ponies. :/

...it's like friggin Srillex had sex with Trivium and Linkin Park. And then the child of it took a massive dump and the massive dump had sex with Jeffree Star.
It's just... It's gross. Can't stand how many legions of deep and totally insane depressed emo kids these guys have, or their music, with maybe ONE song that I like. XC

I honestly have to say I agree with the MLP hype as well is starting to bug me as well.

Thriller Movies-Okay, really, what is so cool about these? It's just like horror only well worse. In fact, i have seen some, Carrie has been considered one. Yet, i do not understand what is so cool about these movies. They freak me out, and i think people make a huge deal out of all of it.

Vampires-Can someone please tell me why this is such a big deal now? Since Twilight it has become the new thing, everywhere i go, I see something with vampires on it. It is getting really stale, Dracula was probably the only vampire i have heard of it before actually seeing Twilight and gotta say now there are more books about vampires then there are about fallen angels or werewolves.

When it comes to vampires, I love Dracula (Bela Lugosi's version), my OC Nicolae..........and that's it Oh...except for "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter." The vampires in that book were AWESOME. SO. COOL. XD Classic, elegant and dark vampires are hard to come by these days. But moving on...vampires used to possess such finesse...now it's all about whiny teenage sparkling and occasionally erotic angst. And I like angst, but there's a time and place for everything. Whining about "being too dangerous for your girlfriend to love you" DOES NOT COUNT AND IS OVERDONE. It's either THAT or you get "vampires who are amazing and perfect and being a vampire is so much better than being a human in every single way blah blah BLAH." Vampires are supposed to be a monster in a man's (or woman's) body. They're physically dead human being.s. And while everyone has their own interpretation, these days, people seem to forget that to be a vampire is a CURSE. A curse to forever walk amongst the shadows, forced to prey on the blood of a creature you once were, neither dead nor living. They're MONSTERS.

No one seems to understand that anymore.

This may be a shocker to some but there are 2 things I really hate.

I will admit I did use to like Naruto when I was in middle school (even bought a Deidara sweatbaned) but.. I think the fanbase ruined it.

I only ever read Naruto as a manga. It's actually pretty good. I'm not sure why I stopped liking it. Going along with the crowd I guess. xD my friends in high school always hated it so I just hated it without any real reason lol

Rainbow Dash.

I cannot stand Rainbow Dash. I know EVERYONE seems to choose her or Fluttershy for their favorites, but they're actually my least favorite ponies of the main six. Or in general. Especially Rainbow Dash. I reallllly don't see why people like her. She's obnoxious, full of herself, rude, annoying...and I still can't see her as a girl. Even if she is one, I'm stuck seeing her as a boy.

Concerning Rainbow Dash, I think it's like with Lucky in 101 Dalmatians the series. Ask anybody who their favorite pup in the series is, and generally the answer is Lucky. This is the truth despite the fact that Lucky is a huge jerk to his friends a lot of the time and only really seems to care about himself and adventure. Same with Rainbow Dash. In recent episodes it's become more apparent to me that she can really be a jerk at times. I mean, yeah there's the whole fact that she's loyal to her friends... but still. I'm starting to like her a lot less than when I first got into the series.

ANYWAY, back to what this board is about.

Pairing Hiccup with Toothless. I absolutely, positively cannot see what makes this pairing so appealing. Hiccup and Toothless are best friends, not to mention entirely different species. How... why... I don't even... just no. I don't like the idea of Hiccup and Toothless being involved romantically with one another. It's like... pairing someone with their dog.
