After dismissing Pinkie's odd - or odder than usual, at least - behaviour with a shake of her head, Twilight had spent a while wondering around the party, inspecting the decorations and such - and mainly, just trying to ignore the spot of trouble Rainbow seemed to have got herself into. Now, however, it was becoming clear to Twilight that, despite her preference not to get involved, the pegasus could probably use some help. Summoning her magic and targeting the puppy who seemed to be in the process of entangling herself in Dash's mane into the air, Twilight levitated her off her friend's back, holding her above the ground. "Better, Rainbow?" she asked casually, despite the fact that the probably squirming puppy was requiring more effort than she would have expected just to keep hold of. -- Rose felt her eyes widen as she caught sight of the kid with the dragon. The only person she knew who worked with dragons was Uncle Charlie, but even then she'd always heard that dragons could never be domesticated, so it was with extreme caution the girl approached, keeping her hand on her wand and ready to draw it at a moments notice if it appeared dangerous at all. When she managed to get close enough without being attacked, Rose allowed her hand to retreat from her pocket, leaving her wand where it was. "How did you do that?" she asked the boy as she approached, without bothering with an introduction. "My uncle said its impossible to tame dragons at all." She squinted at the dragon, which didn't look much like any breed she'd ever heard of. "Is that a Hebridean Black hybrid?" she asked, making a guess based on the colour of the beast's scales. (ooc: Please, Two-Tone, Rainbow Dash hasn't even tried to do any sort of 'stealing' at all throughout the party. She just wants to hang out with Lucky. Please stop blowing this out of proportion and tone it down. ) Once Two-Tone was freed from her mane, Rainbow Dash relaxed. Things were becoming much too hectic for the pegasus and she was very relieved to know that things might have been calming down at last. "Thanks, Twilight." Rainbow Dash said, offering a grateful smile to her unicorn friend. "Now, as I was going to say she is blowing things way out of proportion here. All I was doing was hanging out with Lucky here." she told Jenny. Even though the pegasus was curious about what Jenny was, she couldn't just inject that into the conversation. That would be much too random. "In fact, we were just talking about how we wanted to go outside and play. She's the one that's taking this way out of proprotion and claiming that I was stealing her brother from her." Rainbow said. The pegasus shook her head, ridding herself of several strands of her mane that had been pulled out by Two-Tone. Fortunately, though, Rainbow's mane still looked all right despite the fact that a puppy had made a mess out of it. It was helpful that her mane usually looked like a mess regardless of the situation. ---- "Huh?" Hiccup had to admit he was surprised to know there was someone else interested in Toothless. Emerald eyes shifted to Rose, and he considered her questions carefully. Never in the history of Berk had he heard of a Hebridean Black. He had to wonder if maybe that was some kind of distant relative of the Zippleback. Oh, if only he had brought his book of dragons with him. It would have been so useful at the moment. "Oh... ah, no. Toothless here is a Night Fury. It's... actually a pretty rare species around where I'm from. We hardly ever saw any Night Furies before I met Toothless." Hiccup explained. As for taming dragons... that was a different story. "As far as taming dragons goes, it wasn't easy. Most people back home had never even attempted to tame a dragon before... probably because everyone was far too busy trying to get rid of them." Hiccup said. How far the people of Berk had come since before he had befriended Toothless. Now everyone had a dragon of their own, including his girlfriend, and they couldn't be happier. A sort of doofy smile formed on the redhead's face as he thought about it. He wouldn't have Berk any other way at that point. "Toothless... well, he was a bit of a challenge. It was mostly gaining his trust that was difficult. You see, when I first met him a part of his tail had been lost and he ended up unable to fly out of this cove. That's when I began to visit him on a daily basis." Hiccup began. He stretched out his hand and let it rest on the side of Toothless' face, and the Night Fury didn't so much as budge. "Night Furies weren't used to people, and we weren't used to dragons, so it took quite a bit of time to get him to trust me. I made him his new tail fin..." Toothless brought his tail around his body, letting it rest in front of his huge paws, to show off the man made tail fin as Hiccup spoke. "...and we learned to fly together. Now... well, he's my best friend. All it really took was time and showing him that I wasn't going to kill him." he said. Toothless had to admit that Rose intrigued him. She had said her uncle thought it was impossible to tame dragons. Did that mean he knew a lot about dragons? Had her uncle ever seen a Night Fury before? Or a Monstrous Nightmare? What about Terrible Terrors? Toothless wished that he could speak so that his waterfall of questions could come tumbling out. As it was, though, the Night Fury could only rely on inquisitive looks and soft, little moaning sounds to try and convey his questions.

Jenny gave Rainbow a smile. "Well that doesn't seem like it would cause a problem. Would you mind if I joined you?" she asked. "I've always wanted to hang out with a pegasus, i bet you are really fast." the robot's eyes lit up at the idea of racing this horse. "But if not i can always leave you two."
--- Rex watched the girl approach the dragon with interest, he had never seen one before so it was a new experience. Taking a few steps forward, he watched the girl and the dragon. "Is that actually a dragon?" he replied. "I always heard that they were myths."

It was Toothless that looked to Rex first. Bright green eyes sparkled with interest as he looked Rex over, and slowly the Night Fury tilted his head to the side. Was he really that interesting? He supposed he was in some sense, as Night Furies were a rare sight to even Berkians, but he hadn't expected so many to take an interest in him. At length, Toothless gave a little nod in response to the question. He was a dragon, all right. Of course, he couldn't voice the answer. That would be Hiccup's job.
"Yeah, Toothless is most definitely a dragon. Night Fury to be exact." Hiccup replied. He seemed to be just as amazed as Toothless about the whole thing. He hadn't expected anyone to be interested in him and Toothless, especially when they were such oddballs compared to everyone else.

Rex seemed to consider it. It was really cool to actually see a dragon without dreaming about. "Night Fury huh.." he gave Toothless a smile. The dragon did seem friendly enough, so it was enough to almost want to pet him. "Is he friendly?" the teenager asked before offering a hand to Toothless, like the way one would do to a new dog.

"A Night Fury? I thought there were just ten pure breeds - is that a hybrid?" Rose's head was spinning as she tried to take this all in. Uncle Charlie would have been fascinated by this, she was sure, but Rose herself simply didn't like such a contradiction with what she had thought she'd known. The fact that 'Toothless' was apparently tamed was a hard enough concept for her to grasp. "My uncle's been working with drangons since before I was born, and they're meant to be impossible to train. Are the hybrid's easier than the pure breeds or something?" Rose's 'inner Hermione' was starting to show as she struggled to make sense of what was right in front of her. If there was one thing the Ravenclaw girl hated - other than being bested by Scorpius Malfoy or being told how much like her mother she was - it was having conflicting information that she couldn't make sense of, and that was fast becoming the case here.

"Oh yeah, Toothless is pretty friendly. Just don't give him a reason to mistrust you and you're golden." Hiccup told Rex. He quirked an eyebrow as he thought about Rose's question, though. He'd never really considered that Night Furies could potentially be hybrids of some kind. As far as anyone from Berk had known, though, there weren't any hybrids. At last not as far as Hiccup knew. "I don't think he's a hybrid... at least, I'm pretty sure he's not. Are you, Toothless?" Hiccup asked.
The Night Fury didn't fully understand the question, anyway. He shook his head to confirm the negative, though. As far as he knew he was a purebred Night Fury. Not that dragons were terribly concerned with lineage.
"Guess that answers that." Hiccup murmured. "Not many hybrids around Berk to my knowledge. We've got Nightmares, Terrible Terrors, Nadders, Zipplebacks, Gronckles... and then there's Toothless." in all honesty, Hiccup hadn't considered it before. Where were the others of Toothless' species? Considering it further, though, Rose made it sound as if there were other species of dragons out there. Now the redhead was really intrigued. "What... kinds of dragons has your uncle dealt with?" he decided to ask.

(Once again: Roach and Specs are both free for interaction! Feel free to bother them! Especially Specs. :3)
Sabini's head cocked curiously at the large lizard-like beast beckoning her over. It was unlike anything the lioness had ever seen. Bigger-than-life, completely ebony with the exception of it's emerald eyes, and mighter than any crocodile. She certainly was entranced. Maybe it was friendly? With a slight hesitation, Sabini padded forward towards the lizard, her curiousity growing by the step. She just hoped she wasn't interrupting anything important.
"Hello," she greeted the Night Fury, a smile forming on her muzzle. --- Skye however was attempting to communicate with the dog. Obviously, the other canine could speak and the fox couldn't. Looking up at her with wide rose orbs, she cocked her head. She let out another few barks, translating to "Hello, my name is Skye." Maybe the other dog could understand her?

"I think he's dealt with each of the pure breeds at one time or another - well the ones we know of, anyway. That's Antipodean Opaleyes, Chinese Fireballs, Common Welsh Greens, Hebridean Blacks, Hungarian Horntails, Norwegian Ridgebacks, Peruvian Vipertoothes, Romanian Longhorns, Swedish Short-Snouts and Ukrainian Ironbellies." Sometimes having her mother's encyclopeadic mind could be useful, Rose was prepared to admit - she would never have been able to list all ten breeds of dragon known to the English Wizarding world otherwise - but that was the only concession Rose would make to the claims that she was 'just like Hermione at that age'.
"Have your people heard of any of those?" she asked, somehow doubting that fact. Maybe theirs were a different subspecies of dragon or something native to Hiccup's land - that could explain a lot. Either way, it was a safe bet that Uncle Charlie would be interested - maybe she'd have to introduce the two.

Lucky panted, still a bit frazzled from what happened. Well, while his sister was being controlled, it would be the perfect time for him to sneak away. "C'mon Rainbow Dash, let's go before something else happens." Couldn't she see that he just wanted to have a little fun?

Needless to say, Hiccup was fairly blown away by the fact that there were species of dragons that he didn't know about. At the same time he was pleased. It was nice knowing that the dragons he was familiar with weren't the only species. "Actually, I can't say that I've heard of any of those kinds of dragons. Maybe they don't live around Berk?" Hiccup guessed. It would make sense if that were the case. The young Viking hero didn't doubt that there were places in the world that had dragons beyond Berk. It would be interesting to pack his things and take Toothless on some kind of grand adventure to meet these other species.
Toothless, seeing Hiccup distracted with Rose again, turned his attention back to Sabini. She was definitely a strange looking creature, but not terribly threatening in his eyes. In fact, it was safe for Toothless to assume that, by that point, his rider was perfectly safe and that he could relax. With that in mind, Toothless grinned a big, toothless grin in greeting to the lioness. His lack of words not withstanding, the dragon was fairly pleased at that moment in time. Pleased enough to not have his teeth out, at any rate. He even wiggled his body a little bit to further drive home the point that he was happy.
----
"Right behind you." Rainbow Dash whispered. She glanced at Twilight again, nodding appreciatively to the purple unicorn, and decided that perhaps it would be a good idea to ask if the unicorn even wanted to keep an eye on the pudgier dalmatian. On the other hoof, though, being discrete probably would be better. Although it didn't seem like the best idea to leave Twilight with Two-Tone suspended in the air, she wanted to hang out with Lucky. With that, the pegasus began to follow after Lucky.
"You can come too, if you want." she told Jenny. The metallic being didn't seem too bad. Perhaps a bit naive, but other than that Rainbow didn't have too much of a problem with her.

The horseshoe pup smiled. Finally alone! "So, uh, Rainbow, ready to get those snowballs?" a mischevious smile crossed the youngster's muzzle. Now the real fun'll begin. His sister had no idea what she was talking about when she said he was going to get thrown in the pound.

"For the last time put me down!" Two-Tone snapped at Twilight "I don't want Lucky to fall in love with Rainbow! Please i don't want to lose the guy I love! Can't you see it?? They are alike in so many ways and I'm scared he'll fall in love with her and hurt me and ruin our plans to be together tonight!" Two-Tone told Twilight hoping she'd understand.
Sonic looked at Sal "Wha?? Me blushing??" He tried to hide it before hearing Two-Tone's yelling and pleading "Not again..." he groaned before seeing Twilight apparently attacking her with magic "Hey!" he rushed over and glared right at Twilight "Picking on a puppy with magic? That is uncool" Sonic told Twilight Sparkle. "I always said magic was evil, Ixis Naugus was proof of that." He told the pony as he fondly remembered his run ins with Naugus.
