I agree with that, and from what I heard in the comics Amy aged herself with the chaos emeralds so she;d be old enough for Sonic. Sounds veeeeery mary-sue-ish to me

Well, technically she did it so she could join the Freedom Fighters to at least be around Sonic, but yes, still for Sonic. Sonic told her she wasn't old enough, despite Tails being the same age (although he had prior training, so), so she aged her body. Sonic told her it wasn't her body, but her basic mindset, that needed to be worked on.

Buut yeah. Amy is TWELVE. She just LOOKS sixteen. She's the same age as Tails.
Uuuugh I'm getting issues 225 to 230 before I officially call it quits....this reboot talk I hear does not sound promising at all. Knowing what I do of fans today it'll PROBABLY be focused on the video game world.

@tex - yeah, worst case senario they stick the Thorndykes from Sonic X in the comic and remove the freedom fighters entirely.
Besides nobody forgave Archie comics for making Bunnie Rabbot look like a Cream clone
