"Both." Bri replied curtly, not turning to look at the other girl. Buster grumbled as Bri's hand met with the top of his head, rubbing between the small floppy ears. No sense in letting him lose his temper now.
He hated it, looking all soft and whatnot in front off these others but... damn, did a human know how to relieve the tension on a dog.

Lyra smiled at Bri and Naomi. "Yep! He's a trouble maker alright!" she said in a humourous tone, Ruffling Scamp's hair. Scamp ducked from Lyra's hand. "You really think I'm cute?" Scamp said, his face ztarting to grow red. Lyra crossed her arms. "Wow, Scamp, Just wow. Angel won't be very happy to hear this." she joked. Scamp looked at her in alarm. "Wh-What? You wouldn't!" he protested. He turned his gaze back onto Two-Tone. "I do? Who?" he grinned. "A celebrity?"

Zee laughed, smiling at the group of girls before her. Stitch leaped down and walked up to Buster. He looked up at the dog, got on all fours and started to bark. "Bark! Bark!"
"Stitch stop!" Zee said, "He's...sorry about my...uh...alien..." She laughed slightly.

Bri's eyes widened and she spun around to get a better look at the odd little blue creature perched on the young woman's shoulder. An energy not seen yet seemed to leap out of her all at once, a face-splitting grin plastered on her face. "An alien!? Aww, and he barks? That's so cute!" She gushed. Just then, she caught herself and pulled back, turning a rich shade of crimson and she felt the back of her head. Her bloodshot eyes fell to the sand. "Errr... sorry about that... he's just really cool."
Buster just snorted, feeling the spotlight slowly taken away from him. The mention of Angel wasn't making him feel much better,

Scamp eyed the blue alien in wonder. He looked sorta like a dog...A really deformed dog that must of got run over at least 12 times. Lyra let out a squeal. "He's so FLUFFY~!!!" she ez exclaimed. She turned to face Buster. "Hey what's the matter?" she asked. Scamp glanced behind his shoulder at the huge rottwieler mix. He hadn't noticed his enemy was here until now. "Maybe because he doesn't have cool alien powers." he snorted.

In an instance, Buster's snout was pointed toward the small schnauzer mix, teeth fully exposed. He grinned a less than pleasant grin at his former 'protege'. "Well, if it ain't Scampski. Already forgettin' one of the big rules of the streets, I see... little dogs shouldn't mouth off to big ones so far from home."
Bri was still too caught up in embarrassment and her own daze to notice her miffed dog looking so hellbent.

Scamp's fur bristled. "You don't scare me, Buster. I'll fight you without even-" but thelittle dog was cut off. As Lyra scooped him up in her arms. "No Scamp!" she exclaimed, her voice angry. "Don't go picking fights you can't win." Scamp struggled in the girl's arms. "Stop it Lyra, you're embarresing me!" he said in a strained voice, trying to wiggle free from her grasp and give Buster a piece of his mind.

"Yup, definately reminds me of Lucky" Two-Tone said answering Scamp's question, she blinked looking at Stitch barking.
Naomi couldn't help but find Stitch cute doing that. She looked at Bri and then at Buster "Wow that's cool, he could pass as a purebred of either breed and nobody would be the wiser."

Buster let out another proud, boastful laugh. "What'd I tell ya? Once a housepet, always a--IIIIIIIPE!"
In just a second, the Junkyard King had been brutally thrown from his high horse. Bri's foot once again met the round after busting Buster's butt. The two's two eyes bore into one another. "Let it go. This isn't the junkyard. No pushing around smaller pups. Understand?" The glaring continued until Buster snorted.
"Ahhh, he ain't wroth my time." The muscular mutt carefully sat down while Bri simply rolled her eyes.
"Sorry. It was all fine back up in the town when it was okay to cause a stir but... yeah, I don't want that here."

From farther back, a blonde girl with bright green eyes wearing sandals and a swimsuit was standing around looking rather awkward. Pretend I'm not here. I'm not here. Just go about your conversation and-
"Do ya intend on standin' 'round here dis whole time, or what?"
The Cajun accented voice broke the girl from her thoughts. Phantom turned her attention to her obviously small companion, offering a sort of apologetic look and awkwardly rubbing her neck as if that would make the situation better. "Sorry, Ray. I just... don't really know how to introduce myself into groups." Phantom admitted.
Ray just rolled his eyes. Typical of a human, and an apparently anti-social one at that. It was a wonder the girl had had any social interaction at all. "Well, come on. We ain't gonna get anywhere standin' 'round here like a buncha chuckleheads." Ray remarked. Before Phantom could stop him, he had flitted on ahead and was flying directly toward the group of girls and canines.
"Hey, wait!" Phantom called after Ray. Soon enough, both the nineteen-year-old and the firefly came to a stop near the group. Then the awkwardness became readily apparent. The awkward moment when Phantom realized she had no idea of what to say to any of the other girls. "Uh... hi." she ventured awkwardly.
"Dat ain't no greetin'. Ya gotta be happier than dat! Like dis." Ray corrected. "Hey there, y'all! How's it goin'?" Ray asked.

"Kiaaraaaa slow down!!!!" A mid-toned voice, female, called out, huffing and puffing to keep up with the bouncy lioness cub darting several feet ahead of her, "I-I can't run that far!"
The cub jerked to a halt, but didn't stop moving; pawing at the ground, tail twitching from side to side with un-expelled energy. "Come ON, Tex!" She whined, bouncing in place "I wanna go to the beach!"
Yeah, I know that, Kia.... Tex, the one to whom the previous voice belonged, thought, inhaling deeply and propelling herself forward once again. Her brown hair--tied up in a messy ponytail, flicked the sides of her face, beads of sweat dotting her high forehead as she mentally cursed herself for asking the excitable feline to accompany her to the sea. This was the what - fifth time - she'd cussed her decision? Something like that--though she was only half-serious. Kiara, for all her....eccentricities....was someone Kitexa held very dear. They might have been separated in age and species but the college girl understood her young companion, and just KNEW she'd appreciate time away from her father.
"Hey Tex! Tex look!"
Huh?
Kitexa looked up, dark eyes first falling on Kiara, then her outstretched paw--which was pointing to a small gathering of girls....and OTHER characters.
How weird.
"That's....odd." She murmured, quirking one of her thick eyebrows curiously. "I wonder what's going on...."
"I wonder what's going on" Kiara questioned, drawing the human girl out of her thoughts. They really WERE remarkably similar at times.
"I don't know" Tex wheezed, taking advantage of her companion's distraction and catching her breath. Part of her wanted to join the group, these characters....but that other part--that shy, terrified part that had lurked in her mind since childhood--held her back. What if she wasn't wanted? What if things got awkward if she WAS wanted? What if--?
Hang on.
Chocolate eyes widened, gluing themselves to one girl in particular. That face....hair....crazy smile....
"Bri?" Tex questioned, both eyebrows shooting up into her hairline. "Bri! Bri, hey!! Hey over here!"

Naomi turned first hearing a Cajun accented voice before she saw Phantom and then Ray "Oh hey there" The girl greeted them before she noticed a lioness cub. "Whoa cool! A lioness cub!" She said
Two-Tone noticed the lioness cub enter "Good thing she's not full size or else she'd see me as a spotted meal." The pup gulped.
"Relax Two-Tone, I doubt she'd try that." Naomi pats the pup's head to calm her down before she saw another female come up behind the lioness, Naomi waved a greeting toward Tex.
"Well okay." Two-Tone relaxed as she was petted, she couldn't help but enjoy the petting

Bri had been about to greet to poor Phantom when an all too familiar voice rang in her embarrassed, reddened ears. That voice... Late nights were filled with that voice and talks of she-mans, chubby little f*cks, waffles, sadism... and all done in an accent reminiscent of Bela Lugosi.
The sunniness that shined down on the beach couldn't hold a candle to the ecstatic glow on the wild-haired girl's face. Her heart ran a mile a minute. Buster stopped glowering at his companion long enough to take note of yet another girl and a second lioness. Something about those two was clearly getting an positive rise from his human. Why he had no idea but if the distraction was great enough...
And oh, was there a distraction.
Bri sprinted across the beach, unintentionally kicking sand all behind her and she went. If her eyes hadn't a glimmer of madness before... the unbridled glee she felt now had certainly brought it out of her now.
"KIIIIIIIIIITEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Buster slapped a paw over his eyes. As though his rep hadn't been challenged ENOUGH today.

Something like a laugh and a scream erupted from Kitexa's throat, visions of suffocation and a mouthful of sand dousing her mind and allllmost prompting her to back up and away from her crazed friend....
....almost.
Unfortuantely--or fortunately, perhaps--rationality had never QUITE made a known presence in the tall girl's mind, and instead of saving herself from what would no doubt be a painful encounter, she charged forward, nearly slipping at first but quickly regaining her balance and matching the other girl's speed. Of all the crazy randomhappenstances....BRI WAS HERE!
Kiara, meanwhile, had quickly realized that standing in the crossfire would NOT end well, and quickly darted out of the way, deciding, for the time being, to leave her crazy companion to....the other crazy girl, and instead smiled up at Naomi and down at Two-Tone. "Hi!!" She chirped in a bubbly tone" My name's Kiara!! Who are you?"

((OOC: XD God forbid we EVER meet on a beach. SANDSTOOOOORRRRRRRM!))
Bri shut her eyes, bracing herself for impact as she at last collided with the taller madwoman, not ever feeling the pain... just the pressure. It's not as though she hadn't done this before. "OOF!"Despite very nearly falling backwards, the short stocky girl clung onto Kitexa, an almost psychotic giggle spilling out her lips.
"Omigodomigodomigod it's YEEEWWWW!!!"
Buster again got up and turned around. Where was Scampski? With Bri caught up in her lil happy-time over there he could finally be free to rough up the bright-eyed pup. Food or not, Bri was still a human and the loyalty there was already thin. Secondly... he WAS a street dog.
Not a very wise move trying to get close to one.
