I was watching Lady and the Tramp last night again and I realized something. You know that dog Trusty who's one of Lady's friends? He and Copper look quite alike. See for yourself.   Okay sure, Trusty's a little more wrinkled, but they look very similar. So maybe Trusty could pass for Copper's dad, or at least Copper could pass for his nephew. What do you guys think?  |

The resemblence is uncanny I'll say
maybe Copper and Trusty are related........... hmm I'd go for uncle/nephew relation personally

it might be more plausible to me if they were the same breed of dog. But I'm pretty sure they're two different kinds of hounds.
I can't say the resemblance doesn't strike me in the face and ears though.

Mizan's got a point. I mean, I'm not totally sure what Copper is. (I think he's a Bassett Hound mix, not really sure though. They never say and from the way he looks as a puppy, he appears to be a Bassett Hound.) However, I KNOW for sure that Trusty is a Bloodhound. Two different breeds.
I have to say though, they DO look strikingly similar. ^^

...and I just looked it up. Apparently, Copper is a Coonhound, not a Bassett Hound.
There we go. Two separate breeds. Copper's a Coonhound, and Trusty's a Bloodhound.

that's what I thought, Trusty was a bloodhound. I was thinking about the way he tracked the dog pound wagon and the way he bayed while he was doing it (that sound is chilling too XD).

@ Paws - ah, that's interesting ^^ I always wondered what breed Copper was supposed to be, since he was too tall for a Basset Hound.

Too bad their breeds are different. ^^; I would've loved to draw a picture of them together, even as uncle and nephew.
