I'm not looking for any trouble. I'm not saying this is canon, this is just a theory. If you wanna create your own theory related to this, start your own thread. I'm just bouncing ideas off friends and seeing what they think. No drama, no fighting, I won't reply to any such thing should it come up.
This came to me last night while talking to Fang. The reason this topic isn't in the pairing section is because it's not so much I'm looking for an opinion of the couple so much as it is me voicing my own opinion of it. Also, this is less about the MooTone coupling itself and more about a theory surrounding the following:
- How Two-Tone came to join Mooch, Dipstick and Wizzer's gang.
- How they began going out.
- How Two-Tone got her earring.
- Why Mooch has those nicks in his ears.
------
One day Two-Tone is just chilling. Maybe with Jewel, maybe just in the yard sale box by her lonesome. She's bored with farm life and can't get over the "lameness" of it all.
Enter Mooch.
She sees Mooch and co. come running along, Nanny or some other farm resident chasing after them. Two-Tone's first thought is that they're a bunch of scoundrels... on the other hand (this is Two-Tone we're talking about) they seem to be having so much fun. Two-Tone wonders what it would be like to just let go and run around freely, not caring about what anyone thinks. To get down and dirty with the boys. Not to mention... "he looks cute!"
She eventually decides to approach Mooch and at first all is well. They flirt with one another, joke around, playful banter, playful jabs at one another, yada yada. Eventually though, Two-Tone gets down to business and reveals her true reason for coming to him: she wants in on his fun, to become a member of his gang.
Mooch blows her off. All he sees is the girly-girl who likes to play dress up. The sheepdog figures a girl like her will only slow them down and get in their way.
Two-Tone is persistent though. She refuses to go back to being bored all day long and continues to pester Mooch to give her a chance. Eventually, sick of Two-Tone's whining he agrees to allow her to join... but not so fast.
She has to prove herself first. In order for Mooch to allow her in, Two-Tone would have to prove him wrong-- to show him she's not just some timid girly girl!
And so she does...
Two-Tone figures the only way to show Mooch what she's got is to knock the farm's bad boy down a few pegs... in a fight. If she could beat the farm's wrestling pro in a fight, that alone would score her some major popularity points!
It should be noted that Mooch himself could have piercings at this point. I realize by NOW that he didn't have them in episode one of the series. This couldn't be true canon but the theory is still fun. I just think it would be easy to imagine Mooch with piercings - bad boy, bad girl (at least former mad girl.)
So they fight - in the fight if course, Mooch's earrings are torn from his ears and this'll signify the end of the fight. The two glare each other down and eventually Mooch smirks.
"Alright. Yer in. Welcome to the gang, Two-Tone."
As a symbol of her place in the group, Two-Tone was given one of the earrings she tore from Mooch.
Still keen on one another from the start, the two began to go out. The relationship remained fun for many months.
