Does anyone read (or used to read) the Warriors series by Erin Hunter? I have a big collection of Warriors books in my room, though I've since lost most interest in the books. I do like them a bit, though. They're a fun read. And besides, it's cats ripping eachother's throats out. ( at least the first series was before Hunter turned it into a kitty soap opera) What could be cooler than that?! XD The fourth arc, in my opinion, is boring and repetitive. The third arc is all right, but a little out there. The second arc is great, and the first arc is fantastic. Your thoughts? :3

I loved that series!!! I kind of got lost with the Dovepaw one though, but that's because my friend made me stop reading so that she could get the new ones, which she still hasn't gotten.
Overall, i loved the stories and the characters, They were all so cute and adorable, i fell in love with all of them, even TigerStar, i got to say the one with Lionblaze,Jayfeather and Holly was the one i loved the most. There were so many twists and turns that i was always in suspense.
Good series!

Fun fact: I wanted to start reading them the summer before I started middle school, so I went to Hastings to find the books. I had no idea Warriors has multiple seires. Confusion ensued, and I ended taking the Midnight instead of Into the Wild. I figured out what had happened after I started reading, but I still find it funny. XD

I read all of them up to about.. halfway through the third series, cause I was just getting so confused over everything plus repetitiveness took its effect. I still have all the books in my bedroom though x3 I'm thinking of giving them away though.. or trying to sell them. They were a good series though.

I much prefer teh first and second arcs over the third and fourth ones. Hunter really started running out of ideas, and I think the creativity really depleted the farther Hunter got into the series-- both in the writing and her ideas.

I only read a few books in the first series, but what I read I loved. They were more Paws's thing though XD

The first arc was the best. I've only read the first two books of the second arc, but I find myself not caring as much about the cats going to a new territory as much as I cared about them in their first territory. I mean, I still do enjoy the books but... not as much as the first arc. Like I said, the first arc was the best.

These damned books got me more into drawing, and to DeviantART and the furry fandom, I'll tell you that much. XD Anyway, I remember back in... 5th and 6th grade, I would say, I was OBSESSED with them (I even thought I was a cat for some time... yeah, I'm bizarre. ) Although I can't call myself a TRUE fan because I didn't read all the way through- I stopped halfway through "Moonrise", I think, because either I couldn't get my hands on the book or I was starting to lose interest. But I read all the way through Firestar's arc with the exception of the very first book because it wasn't at the library when I went to get it. I seriously do have to say they were fantastic and well-written, and they did keep me on the edge of my seat. I've got fond memories of just sitting and reading them. In fact, we went to a WEDDING PARTY once in like, Delaware for my mom's friend and the only thing I did there was lounge around the yard/house and read "Firestar's Quest". That big ass special edition book. XD The only other thing reading those books did for me was prompt me to read "Watership Down", which was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. That, and be able to brag to people that I've been able to read books that are almost as long as Harry Potter books before. XP

I liked Firestar's Quest and Bluestar's Prophecy. I need to actually finish reading SkyClan's Destiny, but I was enjoying it. Crookedstar's Promise I'm looking forward to, because I'd like to hear more about RiverClan.
In all honesty, though, I'd love to see a special edition book about Yellowfang. She was easily my favorite cat next to Ravenpaw.

I think the only special book I have/read is the.. Warrior Cats Guide... I think, not sure what it's called XD
I kinda wish their was some way to read them online w/o having to pay for them.. but I think that's illegal... /shot.
Though the third series really turned me off a lot because of Jaypaw/feather.. cause he really acts like/reminded me of a character that an acquaintance has that I don't really... like per say XDDDD. Silly yes, but very true. But he also rubs me the wrong way in general.

They have all the books thus far available on Kindle right now- I know this because my sneaky sister Sapphire got "Into the Wild" for it I was planning on buying a few books from the second series from it, but since I'm kind of strapped for cash at the moment and trying to save up to fix my iPod and get a new tablet pen, I'm holding off from buying them. Even if my dad pays for the majority of books we buy from there. :b
