So, this is one of those pairings that's been floating around since the beginning of a fandom, but due to the changes added in both television shows, it's taken a back seat and not REALLY considered "canon" anymore. Personally, I find that absurd. Having LOVED the Stitch fandom from BEFORE the movie came out, I've seen its evolution, how the characters have developed for better or for worse, and because of this, I have NO trouble at all saying that LiloxStitch is my favorite and only real Stitch OTP. I like Angel, she's cute, cuddly (in the american show), and I've got like three plush of her....but I really DON'T like the way Stitch is portrayed in all media save or the original film and "Stitch has a glitch." He's not as cute, naive, young or innocence, and it was those qualities I fell in love with when I first saw the film. It's also that version of Stitch I prefer to ship with Lilo. Because remember, folks, it's NOT bestiality. Stitch is an ALIEN. Think of it as a cute, blue and fluffy version of Clarke Kent and Lois Lane. Or something. But I'm quite curious to see what you all think of this couple. Anyone remain true fans of the original film? Or do you prefer the american television interpretation? The anime? Let me know!

I've never seen the anime and I haven't seen the show since, like fourth grade. I DO remember the movie, however. And I didn't like the second one for some reason. IDK it just BOTHERED me and I didn't like watching it

I like the original movie and the TV show. XD;;; And despise Angel. In all interpretations.
For more, StitchxAngel happened too fast. Cliche cartoon episode romance.
With these two...
I feel people are mostly grossed out because when people say their sip them, they automatically think of it sexually or just write them off as it being like furrie. I honestly believe that those who DO ship it are in it more for the innocence factor, fave for a couple of... others.
The fact that they're so close as friends, so alone in the world outside of each other and the small misfit family they've collected. The fact that they grew from learning from the other's strengths and short-comings. The fact that they do really just seem so genuinely in love and in a pure way. Lilo is a child and Stitch in a sense might as well be one at heart. There's no ulterior motive there, there's just them having fun and enjoying one another's company and being grateful for all the time they have with one another.

I love the movie and totally approve of this couple <3 I even saw fan interpretations of their kids on dA and thought they were insanely adorable!
I don't like angelxstitch too much, it seemed pretty rush to me in the show... plus the way Angel acts in the anime >>

Bri, you just totally summed up why I love this couple <3
Angel' s cute, but I reallllly don't like the way the anime portrays her, like you said, Nemo. Classic cliche anime couple is classic and cliche.

I, personally, am not a fan of this couple-- mostly because I'm not that into the Stitch fandom, anyway. I can dfeinitely see where some people like it, and how it would work, but... idk. Just not into it.

i have never seen either of the movies besides the first one, and a few episodes of the Lilo and Stitch show. Tried to watch Stitch but i hated it, because of the way they killed all the characters personalities.
But i think they are cute in some ways. I don't know why

well I'm more of a StitchXAngel shipper myself though the anime does kill the established personalities of the characters (heck Angel was a bit OOC too, even going as far as to date Reuben in one episode!0

yeah Tex, I saw it some months ago on wikipedia, shocked me to no end and in the anime Lilo's an adult with kids (her daughter looks and acts like Lilo did in the original series)

Bri pretty much summed up why I like this couple. So, gold stars for her.
Looking back, Stitch/Angel did happen a bit too fast. It just kind of came out of nowhere, and then several episodes later it reappeared and they both were madly in love with one another. I mean, yeah, I do support Stitch/Angel but I also like the idea of Stitch/Lilo. Stitch/Lilo just feels more developed than Stitch/Angel, like it was thought through and such, while Stitch/Angel feels kind of tacked on with the plot of the series. Hell, even the Experiment Tracker that came with Stitch! The Movie mentioned that Stitch loved Angel long before her episode even aired. With it mentioned that far in advance you would think they would have developed it more.
Honestly, I think Stitch/Angel could have worked better if maybe they had had Angel in a few more episodes and not rushed Stitch falling for her. Maybe if they had built it up slowly it could have worked better. So, for me, Stitch/Lilo just seems a bit more logical. Again, no disrespect to Stitch/Angel. I still like the pairing, but not as much.
Also, anime? What anime? Oh, you mean that abomination passing itself off as an anime. Yeah, that doesn't exist for me.

well, at first it kind of weirded me out because I think of Stitch as a cute little puppy dog xD; but when I think about it, really he isn't. He's a super intelligent alien species, wouldn't really be any different than if Lilo were to fall for Jumba or Pleakley xD
I don't know, I'm not sure about it.
