Kain looked at Ace "Name's Kain, I'm the sole survivor of my litter." He said

For once, the small pup would admit that he was rather afraid. What had happened? How had he ended up in the middle of nowhere? Trigger recalled that he had fallen asleep while watching Thunderbolt with Blitz, Mousse, Charlotte, and Camellia the previous night, but when he awoke he found he was no longer curled up beside Charlotte. Instead, he found himself under the shade of a big tree and entirely on his own. With no other options and no idea of what else to do, Trigger had taken off like a shot in the first direction he could think of which, inevitably, led him toward the group of pups that were talking.
When the realization that he was about to collide with Ace sunk in, Trigger let a gasp escape him and tried to stop himself before that could happen. Unfortunately, Trigger had built up so much momentum that he was unable to stop as soon as he would have liked to. As a result he did stop, but the stop was a result of him ramming in to the back of Ace's leg. "Oww..." Trigger groaned.

Rugby's tail slowly started to wag, his nerves calming down from the large amount of puppies in the area. But his mouth gaped open when he saw Trigger collide into Ace's leg like that.
"Heya.. are you okay?" The chubby male asked Trigger, nudging him lightly with his head.

"Nice to meet you Beyonca, hi Ka-" A slight thump. Barely noticeable to the older Dal, almost as if someone had nudged him. He looked around in surprise to see....surprise of all surprises, a mini-Ace. Well....sort of. He had the same floppy ears, fluffy topknot, and most noticeable of all....a missing leg. On the opposite side than him. Just like...
"Um...hi." Ace said awkwardly, shocked. This pup looked like he could be his little brother.
When the other pups expressed concern, he looked at them, surprised. "Um no....no damage." He chuckled. "I don't know if the same can be said for him...Are you all right?" He looked back at Trigger.
(Different reality altogether TT. This would be my non-angst AU ^^)

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. I just couldn't stop." Trigger replied, slowly getting to his paws and taking a step back before proceeding to rub his forehead in an attempt to soothe the pain. "Sorry about that. I kind of got freaked out when I saw I wasn't home with my friends, and just took off running in the hopes that I'd find them." he explained. Now that he had taken a moment to take in the appearance of the pups that were present, Trigger realized he wasn't familiar with any of them. None of them resembled the pups he was familiar with, except for partially resembling Eris in fur coloration in a couple of cases. And Ace... well, he looked as though he could be his brother. But that wasn't possible. He was an only child.
"My name's Trigger, by the way." he finally decided to say, realizing he hadn't introduced himself. Well, of course he hadn't introduced himself. He'd literally had a crash course in getting involved in conversations.

"Hi Trigger." Ace smiled automatically, a smile that faded into a curious expression. "Say, are you....um..." He felt awkward asking, but he had to know. "Are you uh....are you....Cadpig's...and...and Tripod's....?" He had to know. This pup looked too much like him. But how was that possible? Ace was positive that his only siblings were....but were they? Had his parents had more pups he wasn't aware of?

"Nope, don't know a Joan" Lucky jr answered before he saw Trigger crash into Ace, he was relieved nobody was really hurt. "Better becareful next time." Lucky jr told Trigger. "Don't wanna hurt somebody or get hurt ya know." he said
Kain sat down, although he was still angry, he did however express interest in the pups around him, particularly the ones that looked like his mom and dad. "Beyonca, what was it like?" Kain asked
"Excuse me?" Beyonca asked Kain.
"What was it like to be loved by your parents?" Kain asked
"Well, it is pretty cool knowing they would be around to help me and my family out no matter what." Beyonca told Kain
"Danae would have loved to have heard that..... she longed to feel love from mom and dad even though she hated them for abandoning us." Kain told Beyonca

Even if the question wasn't finished, Trigger thought he could get the gist of it. It just... didn't seem possible. Blitz was his adopted litter mate since Cadpig had volunteered to raise him, but Trigger was positive that he didn't have any siblings related by blood. It was true that in all technicalities Charlotte and Mousse were his cousins, but siblings? Well... Trigger was sure he was Tripod and Cadpig's only pup. Regardless, he nodded in response to the question.
"Yeah... Tripod's my dad and Cadpig's my mom. But I thought I was an only child." Trigger replied, admittedly stunned by this revelation. Trigger wondered what Blitz, Mousse, Camellia, and Charlotte would have to say about it if they ever found out.

"Kickstand?" Trigger repeated. That was a name he had never heard before. Idly he wondered if maybe there were more pups he didn't know about. "I'm afraid I don't know any Kickstands. I don't have any siblings to speak of by that name, at any rate... or any siblings at all, like I said." he explained. "The closest I could think of would be Blitz. He's not related to me by any means, but he's sort of like a brother to me since my mom took care of him after uncle Rolly found him abandoned on the farm." Trigger continued, tail wagging a little at the memory of Blitz. He wondered how the Border Collie was doing.
"...Sorry, you guys probably don't want to hear me ramble." he apologized.

Ace was admittedly confused by this too. "Um...not to my knowledge you're not.....I'm.....I'm their child too. The oldest in fact." By his understanding, he had at least one sibling...that was all he was aware of.
"I...I guess that makes us....brothers?" He perked up when Beyonca mentioned the name Kickstand.
"Oh! Yes, I know Kickstand, he's my brother." It just cemented his belief that these pups were siblings of Joan's. Although they didn't seem to know her. It was a little confusing.

"I... guess so." Trigger said. "Maybe it's like... fate or something that we met like this." he suggested. Well, it seemed to make sense. He had found himself in a place he didn't know with no idea where any of his friends were, and he had stumbled upon Ace. Maybe in some strange, alternate universe they were siblings. Or maybe they were just connected in some way. Who knew? Trigger fiddled with his whistle in an attempt to settle his confusion. Whether or not it was working wasn't something he could determine.
"Man... if only Blitz, Camellia, Charlotte, and Mousse could get a load of us. They'd never believe this if I told them about it." Trigger reflected with a laugh. "I bet Eris and Orion wouldn't believe it, either. This would show them." he added. Yes, it certainly would show the sheepdog dalmatian mixes a thing or two. No more teasing about his being an only child.

Kain meanwhile remained silent as he looked at all the dalmatians. Felice couldn't help but feel bad for him hearing of his lot in life.
