Down at the Junkyard

Afterthe loss of his followers, Buster reclaims the Junkyard as his own and allows his former friends to re join. As well as a few others as well.

So basically, the plot takes place after Scamp's Adventure. Just a thread revolving around the new junkyard dogs and how they interact with each other.

Rita lay on a dirty sofa, her head on her brown paws. Mounds of trash and debris rose around her like tall buildings. Hey, It wasn't anything like New York but she wasn't complaining. She got twice as much scraps here as she did on the streets, and the dog catchers were so stupid she could roam around whenever she felt like it. She yawned, flicking her long tail. If only the others had decided to come with her. She wouldn't even care if they wanted to bring the little orange kitten too.

"Hey, hey, heyyy!" A male's voice drawled, interrupting her solitude. The self-appointed 'King' of her new digs stood on a mountain of trash, eclipsed by the sun and looking almost brilliant... if you were to forget who is is. The dog grinned, still chuckling quietly to himself. "Enjoying the high life, aren't ya, baby?" The doberman mix bounded down and landed on the opposite side of the sofa, a smug grin still plastered on his snout.

Rita rolled her eyes. "Oh, hello Buster." she said sighing. "Seems like you have to ruin every perfect moment I can get, huh?" The brown saluki jumped down from the sofa and landed neatly on her paws. She turned to face Buster again with a frown of dislike. Oh how she wanted to wipe that grin off his face. It was annoying enough that he thought he was the "king" of the junkyard, but it was even worse how he expected every dog to respect him for it. "What do you want to bother me about this time?" She asked impatiently.

[Angel]

Well. Here she was.

It sounded dumb - in fact, it was among the craziest things she'd ever thought - but Angel was homesick for this smelly old junkyard. Despite, well, Buster himself, the pomeranian had had some good times here, and she didn't rightly feel that she belonged with Scamp's family yet. They were nice and all - but they had yet to become her own. All of which ahd led her back here. Maybe a few hours of reliving the 'old days' alone in the trash should be enough for her.

Until she heard his voice, and any thoughts the pomeranian might have ahd about this being a good idea fled instantly. Shouldn't he be... dead by now? She wasn't sure exactly how long it had been since Scamp had left the former 'king of the junkyard' trapped, but he shouldn't have survived that long without food or water.

Curious in spite of herself, Angel allowed herself to slip into the junkyard, peering out from behind a broken barrel. She had to see for herself; how had Buster survived?

Ruby, dirty canine she was, was making her way towards Buster. Tail drifting on the ground, head high, she just had to see whether or not Buster was alive. She'd even left her home to see this. She didn't like those dang humans anyway. She missed having her coat dirty and flirting with dirty street males who she could use and abuse.

Tongue lolling out of her mouth, the female walked up to Buster. "Hey there hot stuff," she said, planting her furry rear to the ground and giving Buster a smile, "How you doin'?"

Rita narrowed her eyes at Ruby. "What do you know, one of Buster's traitors came crawling back after all." she snorted, flicking her tail at the former street dog. She turned around quickly and faced her. "What do you want anyway?" she asked coldly.

As she waited for Ruby's answer, a second scent wafted over her nose. It smelled like...House dog. She glanced around slightly. Great, just how many stupid house pets come here anyway? She thought in annoyance.
