Streets of Gold

(OOC: I don't even know where the title came from. Too much 3OH!3. Anyway, this takes place in Ontario, Canada, and eventually will go into the US.)

Ah, there it was. The city of Ontario, Canada. The young dog used her last bit of remaining strength to run down to the city streets, with a light grey German Shepard following directly behind her, and her brother running next to her. When the trio reached the nearest park bench, Solaurea planted herself down next to it, her tongue lolling out in exhaustion.

"Wow....that...that took us forever to get here." she said, panting. Niko nodded, without saying a word. Dante had taken to sniffing some nearby grass, before turning his head to the young leader.

"Solaurea, does it bother you that the humans may mistake you for some sort of other animal? It isn't every day that they see a green Akita such as yourself." Dante said.

The Akita furiously shook her head. "What do I care? They freak out over the littlest things!" she said, before sniffing the air. "Seems like there's been other dogs around here...and they didn't leave too long ago."

Bright brown eyes widened, floppy ears perked, head quirked sharply to the side. Followed by the rest of him, a mass of cream, brown, and black bounding towards the other two dogs.

"Hey!!! Heeeeeey!" Eddie yipped, tail wagging madly behind him as the shih tzu ran up to them. "Who're you? Where are you going? My name's Eddie!"

Dante whirled around to inspect the hyper little shih tzu.
"Pup, you ask too many questions. It's best that you keep your mouth shut." Dante growled. Niko snickered, before walking up next to the German Shepard half-breed.
"Calm down, Dante. Remember, I used to be the same way." Niko said, as he looked to the other dog.
"My name's Niko, kid. The green dog you see over there is my sister, Solaurea, and this is Dante." Niko said, gesturing to the dog next to him with a paw.
