(...Please excuse the awful title, I just had to. XD)
Moonwulflyra - Scamp and Kopa Partner/Angel - Angel and Annette Patchy - Giselle, Wilbur, and Flynn Rider Sapphire - Vitani and Lucky Zeewolfsbane - Kovu
Scamp sat in the courtyard, staring up past the vast towers surrounding him to the pure white sky. This was his first winter, not to mention year, at Hogwarts alone. Scamp still couldn't recall the excitement and state of shock he had been in when he and his sister had recieved a letter claiming that they were wizards.
He twitched his black nose as a loose flake of snow landed on him. He shook his head, the yellow and black scarf around his neck shaking loosly. As much of an honor it was to be going to such a school, he still was pretty surprised he had gotten into Hufflepuff. But at the same time, he was extremely proud of his house like any other student would be.
"Hey there, Hufflepuff."
Scamp turned around to see a golden lion-cub padding towards him, a red and gold scarf hanging around its neck. Kopa grinned at him as he sat down in the snow. "Sure is cold, isn't it? I haven't seen snow in... Well I haven't seen snow yet!" Scamp rolled his eyes. "Yeah, that's great. If you're here to brag again about getting into Gryffindor you can go somewhere else please." he asked, pulling his school bag closer to him. Kopa was quiet for a moment before giving a shrug. "Well, okay then." he said. "Isn't this place so cool though?"

Annette shivered as she trotted out to join her brother in the courtyard, pulling her robes more tightly around her as she approached, the tie displaying Ravenclaw's colours hung proudly around her neck. Chocolate orbs traced critically over the other figure present - a lion, of all things - although she nodded to acknowledge him anyway.
"Why are you out here in this weather?" she demanded of her brother, drawing her robes still tighter around her. "It's freezing!" It would be safe enough to say that the cocker was hardly impressed with the cold. However - loath though she was to admit it aloud - she preferred her brother's company to that of most of the girls in her house. He was a familiar face, at least, and in all truth, Annette was feeling rather homesick recently. So here she was, out in the snow, for no other reason than Scamp's company.

"So what?" came a snarky voice. A golden-fur lioness was trailing behind the cocker. She had a green scarf - the scarf of Slytherin. A smile pained on her muzzle. She love teasing some of the other girls - mostly the Hufflepuff ones. "Anyway, the cold doesn't bother me"
"Aw lay off 'em Vitani." a proud voice said. A horseshoe pup stood behind the group, his chest puffed out proudly displaying the Gryffindor colors. He strode past the cocker, the lioness and the other male lion and stopped in front of Scamp. "And why shouldn't we brag about our houses. We have the right to be proud of 'em don't we?"

Scamp's ears pricked up at the sound of a fimiliar voice. "Oh, hey sis!" he greeted Annette, feeling strangly happy to see her again. He shrugged. "I dunno. I just wanted to check out the school grounds, I guess." Honestly, even though he was estatic to be attending such an amazing school, Scamp had been feeling rather overwhelmed lately. He looked at his sister's tie and gave her a grin. "Nice, see you got into Ravenclaw nicely." he commented. He never doubted for a second that she would get into that house, her being the brains out of him and his sisters. He didn't understand why she actually agreed to wear the rest of te school uniform though. He personally didn't like them, him being a dog and all. He turned around to see a lioness coming towards them through the snow. He frowned. This time it was a Slytherin. Kopa was about to greet the other dog, but he broke off as he heard Vitani's remark. He scrunched up his nose. Outlanders. "Well, I guess that doesn't make you a normal lioness then." he said back, rolling his crimson eyes. He raised an eye brow at Lucky, noticing his own red and gold scarf. "You? In Gryffindor?" he said, somewhat surprised. "Hm, I was pretty sure you'd get into Hufflepuff." After his own sorting, Kopa didn't care to pay anymore attention to the others. He had caught a glimpse of Lucky, but he for sure that the scrawny dal would of gotten into Hufflepuff.

"I personally think it doesn't matter what house we are in, everyone is special at something." A red haired girl said coming up, the tie of raven claw around her neck. A smile on her face, she was glad to get into Ravenclaw, but she was not sure how well she would fit in.
Flynn Rider rolled his eyes as he watched Giselle try to get a positive outlook on things. "YEah, every house is great, but Gryffindor is the best."

"Lay off them, Vitani." Another girl clad in the Slytherin colours - this one a blonde-furred pomeranian - had also entered the courtyard. She idly rubbed her own tie with one paw - never having worn a collar before, it was taking some getting used to - as she allowed her cerulean orbs to trace over the other four figures, lingering a moment longer on the Hufflepuff pup than the rest of them. Unlike her feline housemate, Angel wasn't looking for trouble, a fact that made her stand out from the majority of other Slytherins more than she cared to admit. But didn't Slytherin value cunning above all else? What was cunning about openly insulting the other houses? She did, however, reward the human Gryffindor with a scowl.
---
Annette decided to demonstrate the intelligence that had gotten her into Ravenclaw by not rising to the taunts from the other two houses. "I was worried that I wouldn't." she admitted, glancing momentarily down at her paws. She was well aware, even though he didn't speak it, of her brother's inability to comprehend why she wore the full uniform - but as long as she was here, the cocker thought she may as well look the part. And at least the canine Slytherin, if none of the other animals present, seemed to have thought the same way as her. "That hat took a long time deciding me."

Scamp gave his sister a playful nudge. "Well it looks like it put you where you belonged in the end, huh?" he said, giving her an encouraging smile. He and Annette hadn't always gotten along, but he was her brother, and he would be there for her anyday. He turned to face Angel, his brown eyes wide in shock. "You... You got into Slytherin?!" he exclaimed. Even Angel had got put where she belonged. He turned to face everyone else, a frown on his face. "What's so wrong with being a Hufflepuff?" he asked, feeling a bit hurt.

"Nothing's wrong with being a Hufflepuff." Giselle said with a smile. "Every house is special in its own way." she said giving Flynn an angry look, not quite a glare but pretty close. "All that matters is that you have friends."
"Oh don't make me gag." Flynn said with a roll of his eyes. "Everyone knows that Gryfinndor is the best." he replied. "We are the bravest and the strongest." Wilbur came up to Flynn with a smirk. "This kid agrres with me."
Wilbur shook his head with a smile. Giselle however did not look pleased. "Just because you think you are best that doesn't mean you should think that other houses are beneath you." she said

Angel shot a smile in Scamp's direction. While she didn't entirely fit it amongst her housemates, the pomeranian did feel as though she'd been put where she belonged. And, ironically enough, she owed that fact to Buster and her time in his Junkyard Dogs. The only thing was that being in her house made it rather more awkward to see Scamp often. Most Slytherins seemed universally hated by the other houses - although given some of the attitudes she'd seen, she couldn't blame them.
Crossing the distance between herself and Scamp, - pointedly refusing to so much as look at the arrogant Gryffindors as she passed - Angel nuzzled his cheek briefly. She'd probably never live it down if Vitani was watching her, but no matter what house he was in, she still loved the scruffy pup. "There's nothing wrong with it, tenderfoot." she reassured him, idly noticing - and then dismissing - the fact that, like most of those present, Scamp wasn't wearing the full uniform either. "Hufflepuff's just as good as the other two houses. And besides," she added, playfully batting at the mix's scarf with one paw, "yellow and black suits you."
She nodded slightly at the Ravenclaw cocker, who returned the gesture. Annette had always been the most reluctant of Scamp's family to accept her, and the Pomeranian couldn't help but wonder if the cocker now thought that Angel's placement in Slytherin was justification enough for her doubts.

Scamp felt his face go red in embaressment at Angel's affection. How silly was this, a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin? Many students would laugh at the thought. But he didn't care. His ears pricked up, suddenly remembering something. "Oh wait!" he exclaimed, rummaging through his bag. He pulled out an 11" wand in his teeth, a wide smile on his face. "Cedar, Phoenix feather." he stated proudly, puffing out his scruffy chest. He grinned. "Now who wants to see some magic?" he asked. He wasn't sure if this was aloud on school grounds, but he'd do it to impress everyone. Especially Angel.
Kopa turned to face Scamp, enthusiasm lighting up in his face. "Using magic? Count me in!" he exclaimed, his tail lashing. He'd always figured dogs were no different than hyenas, but this guy seemed cool enough.

Annette and Angel exchanged a look, clearly both remembering that they weren't supposed to use magic out of class, but neither wanting to mention it. There weren't any teachers around, after all... what harm could it do?
"I know how to do a few things with magic too." Annette put in, paws fumbling awkwardly with her robe's pockets as she withdrew her own wand, hazel and dragon heartstring, gripping it in her mouth as she quickly smoothed down her uniform.
Unlike the two members of her adopted family, Angel made no move to draw her wand, content simply to watch how this would play out. "This should be amusing," she observed casually, although despite what one might expect from a Slytherin, there was no hint of maliciousness present in her tone.
