A thread for people to try and help other people search for old things they may have read/watched/played years ago but just can't put their finger on Cuz I think it would be a good idea. I'll kick it off with a book series I started reading a long time ago and never finished. I only read the first book and didn't really process all fo it cuz I was only in third grade or so. I remember that it was about this young orphaned squirrel who was named Urchin, who was foudn by some crippled old wiseman squirrel, and the baby hedgehog prince of teh kingdom was murdered, and I do believe there was a squirrel of high rank in the kindgom who Urchin suspected was a traitor... and that's all I remember. I can't remember the name of the series at all, and though I haven't really gone scouring the internet for info yet, I was hoping if someone knew of it. I ask cuz I remembered it and rememebred that it was really well-written and want to try reading it again in its entirety this summer. I just can't remember the name of the damn series!!!! X'U

I'm reviving this topic because I can therefore I will, and also because I'm looking for a nostalgic book series myself. The series I believe you are looking for is The Mismantle Chronicles ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mistmantle_Chronicles#Books), which was surprisingly enough brought up to me by my one friend a few years ago to read when we were talking about Redwall. I never got around to it but maybe one day I will. So here's where I shoot...I'm looking for this one Disney-produced book series I used to read in 2nd/3rd/4th grade. I only ever had two books out of it, but it was about these five or six girls, each of which represented a different Disney princess (one was Cinderella, one was Snow White, one was Pocahontas, one was Belle, one was Jasmine, and I THINK one was Aurora...can't remember) and their books were basically about their life and problems and connecting to the princess that they represented to fix their problem. For example, one that I owned was about the girl who represented Belle, and she had her neighbor over who was always kind of gruffish and a little bit of a bully and he had the chicken pox, so they kept referring to him as "the Beast". Another one that I didn't own focused on the girl representing Snow White, and how she had six brothers and her mom was pregnant again and she wanted a sister for once. If any of you could help me find these that'd be awesome. xD

Bahaha *hugs* I love you too! And it sounds really interesting so go on and enjoy the hell out of that xD
And that's fine! I'll do some poking around on my own to find it, too. I'm also looking for a few old games, a computer game and a Dragon Tales game (which I MAY still have but I dunno), but they're a little harder to find so I'll spare it for now.

Okay, I need to track down a cartoon because this has been bugging me for ages. I remember watching this... video, I think, when I was a little kid at my grandparents' house. It was about a little tree that was supposed to be the first Christmas tree (I think) and it gave away its needles and drew a lot of attention to itself for being generous. I think. I could be remembering this totally wrong. It's a vague memory, but I remember liking it somewhat and I'd like to track it down again. Does anyone know what the title of this would be?

Bringing this thread back around because there's something that has been bugging me for the longest time, and I'm finally able to coherently explain it.
Back when there was actually a bookstore on the island I live on every year in the summer (I promise you just read that correctly), I remember picking up these two books in a picture book series. If I'm remembering correctly, I believe they were Fisher-Price books? They were about this group of anthropomorphic dogs and cats (I don't exactly remember how many cats there were, but I definitely know there was one) who round and chubby, and they had some kind of a group name based on that, but I can't exactly remember what it was...
I do remember in one of the two books that the group was going on a picnic , and the one white-furred cat had just got her fur and nails done and didn't want to do the things that everyone else was doing (playing games, eating watermelon and cherries) in fear of ruining her fur. Eventually, the toy they were playing with falls into the lake and one dog tries to reach it with help from the others, and they all end up falling in or something close to that.
Can anyone make sense of this? I'd really like to find it again, just to see what it was.
