For the same reason that Gloyd/Vanellope, Rancis/Vanellope, Turbo/Vanellope, Candlehead/Vanellope, Ralph/Vanellope, and anyone/Vanellope exists. The shippers demand it. XP Personally, I hate all Vanellope ships.

Personally, I don't see any of the pairings with her working since they're all nine years old. But I digress. I do see your point; given all the shit that Taffyta put Vanellope through I'm hard pressed to find any way of the pairing working.
