Kitexa as Juliette Namacub95 as Tyler Other people possibly joining later
-------------------
Today would be the day. Tyler wasn't going to chicken out again. No, today he would do it! He was going to march up to the most beautiful dog he knew, screw the concesquences, and tell her how he really felt. No chickening out, no getting distracted. He was going to do it.
Of course, that's what he'd vowed to do the last time...and the time before that and the time before that as well. He felt like such a wuss.
But this time he was sure! Come hell or high water, he was going to tell Juliette that he loved her. The collie cross smiled to himself at the thought of her. He was sure, she was the only girl he wanted to spend his life with. She was beautiful, kind, sweet...she was perfect.
So Tyler sucked in a breath, puffed out his chest and marched into the Junkyard with a purpose.
"Juliette? Juliette! Where are you?"

(Can I just say I REALLY love Tyler?? X3)
Not some fifteen feet away, the very girl who's name Tyler had been calling lay atop the remnants of a torn-up sofa, head between her paws, just thinking. Thinking about him.
Romeo.
Oh how her heart fluttered when she thought of him; those dark, mystifying eyes....that suave, accented voice....he was perfect. A knight in shining armor.
If only he hadn't been born to them....
"Juliette? Juliette!"
Large floppy ears perked up at the familiar sound, and for a split second, her heart leapt in her chest; Romeo? Was that her--??
"Where are you?"
Oh.
Never mind.
She knew the voice--all too well--but it didn't belong to her prince charming. With a soft sigh, the half-dal arched her back, stubby tail wiggling in the air as she stretched, then rightened herself. She wasn't in a particularly playful mood, but it was better than lying around doing nothing.
"Tyler?" She answered, increasing the strength of her own voice to make sure he'd hear her "I'm over here!"

Tyler's smile broadened when Juliette's voice responded and he quickly bounded in the direction it had come from. He was starting to get slightly nervous, after all...what if Juliette didn't like him back? What would he do then? She was the only dog for him, he was sure of that...but what if?
Tyler spotted Juliette lying on a tattered old sofa and he quickly shoved the doubts from his mind. With a small leap he was soon on the sofa beside her. His heart was hammering itself against his rib cage, it sounded deafening to him...could Juliette hear it?
"Hey Juliette...what ya doing?" he asked noticing she seemed deep in thought.

(continue on from last post)
Tyler's brows furrowed, why did Juliette seem so distant...had something happened? Had he done something? He searched his mind for a plausible reason for her acting like this and drew blank. Something had to have happened because he never knew Juliette to act like this.
"What the matter?" he asked softly.

"What?" the dal-mix replied, tone quickly gaining a slight offense to it. "Nothing's wrong, Tyler. I don't know why you'd ask."
Yes she did.
She knew pretty darned well.
Tyler was her best friend. They'd known each other most of their lives. He knew her better than anyone else--even her parents. Well....except for Nan, but Nan knew EVERYONE well, didn't she..
With a light flick of her tail, Juliette leapt off the tattered furniture piece, landing with a PAF on the dirty ground bellow. Her rounded snout poised in the air, she added, "Just lost in thought again. You know how I do that. Why?"

"Jeez, cool your jets!" Tyler said leaping down beside her "I was only asking 'cause you looked depressed. Sorry for the show of concern."
Tyler's frown deepened, so far everything was going off to a completely rubbish start. For one, Juliette was annoyed with him and he'd only been in her presence for less than five minutes and secondly she seemed depressed even before he arrived. If he was going to reveal his feelings to her then he had to remedy that fast.
"Sorry." he said after a few minutes of silence had passed "I didn't mean anything by it, Juliette...I know, let's go to the park and howl at the moon...it'll be a full one tonight and it's almost sunset. I know this great place where you can see the whole town."

As tempting as it was to continue with the attitude, she REALLY didn't want the boy to get snappy and start asking the wrong questions.
Then again, she wasn't in any real mood to SHAKE the attitude....
....ooh but Tyler didn't deserve it right now--he'd stopped asking her--maybe she should just....put it on hold.
Save it for Bairon or something.
"The whole town?" The dal-cross inquired, going with her latter decision to temporarily abandon her personal longing and the sarcasm that accompanied it. Stubby tail wagged behind her; she so enjoyed overlooking large areas....Romeo would--No no, not Romeo, not now, focus focus focus--anywhere that wasn't the Junkyard sat well with her. Plus, it was nearly dark: that time between sunset and when the moon rose was such beautiful time of night....
"Alright. Sounds good, Tyler! Let's go!"

Tyler's tail became a blur of black when Juliette agreed, a large slightly goofy looki g grin quickly spread across his face. Juliette and him, together...alone. It was like the fathes had thrown him a dashing of good luck. Finally he would have the chance to tell her what he'd been wanting to for months.
It was going to be perfect.
"C'mon!" he grinned "Race ya to the park! Last one there's a rotten egg."
Tyler, of course, was inclined to let Juliette win if she agreed...after all she was far too pretty and far better smelling that any egg. The collie cross dropped his front legs, his tongue hanging out of his mouth as he waited for his friend to accept or decline the challenge.

Juliette's lips curled up in a challenging grin.
"You're on!" She yipped, dark eyes gleaming at Tyler before she took off like a rocket.
The wind rustled through her fur, large ears flopping behind her and tail wagging with glee.
Tyler might not have been her Romeo.
But he could be fun from time to time.
(Blaaah lame post is lame ^^")

Tyler grinned and raced after his friend out of the Junkyard. It looked like things were looking up, bad beginning aside things were going well. Perhaps he had just caught Juliette at a bad moment earlier and perhaps that was why she had been so snappy and irritable. Either way, Tyler wasn't one to dwell on what might have been causing his friend's bad mood.
When they were neck and neck with each other Tyler began to ease up, feigning fatigue, and allowed Juliette to take the lead. He would let her have the victory, partially because he wanted her good mood to continue and mostly because he loved seeing her so happy when she won.
(Just wondering, should I have Tyler reveal his feelings to Juliette or have him chicken out?)
