Just for Patchy and I.
Phantom - Vanellope
Patchy - Wilbur and Jack Frost
The day had started out like any other Saturday. Vanellope had gone out to the park, keen on trying to squeeze her way into a group of kids and maybe make some friends, but things had turned sour rather quickly. It seemed that no matter what she tried, she just couldn't fit in with the other kids. This particular day they had gone at her for her candy-themed appearance. Vanellope hadn't seen anything wrong with it, but evidently the other kids had written her off as a misfit. It didn't help that she wasn't exactly girly enough to hang out with the girls and that she wasn't accepted by the boys because they thought she was too weird. So, she was stuck. Vanellope had resigned herself to the fate of a misfit, at least for that day, and decided to just poke around at a more secluded part of the park.
Vanellope was presently laid out on her back atop a tire swing and was slowly spinning around in a little circle while her other foot that wasn't providing a bit of momentum dragged against the ground. From time to time, brownish-green eyes would stray to where the other kids were playing. Vanellope's face scrunched up a bit and she hmphed softly. Who needed them, anyway? She was fine all by herself!
"...Who'm I kidding?" Vanellope wondered out loud. She was lonely, and no matter what she told herself that wasn't about to change. Not unless she actually tried to make herself fit in, anyway. It wasn't like someone was going to magically take an interest in her, either. She was convinced that the last thing anyone would want to do would be try to join her at the tire swing. Even still, Vanellope slightly lifted her head from where it lay and looked up. Maybe, if she was lucky, someone would come by.
