We have the pairing theme song thread, but what about songs that remind you of specific people and/or single characters? List em here and maybe a brief sentence or so of why. =3 I .. well mainly I just wanted an excuse to put this somewhere xD
Keep On Loving You by REO Speedwagon -- I've loved this song for years but, ever since I met my best guy friend it's always made me think of him. Even before he admitted he had a crush on me. I think it was my subconscious screaming at me xD The song "She Will Be Loved" reminds me of him too, just cuz it sounds like him.. yeah XD
I Can't Fight This Feeling by the same band also made me think of him.. for the same reason. Always felt like he loved me.
I dunno maybe I'm the only person who associates songs with specific rl people =p like for years the cheesy love song by Mr. Big made me think of my cousin xD even before I even realized what the song was about. I think it was the melody.

"Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo ALWAYS makes me think of the Makaras from Homestuck. I'm still not entirely sure why. I guess how it's upbeat but has a vaguly eerie tone and well it's basically about a corpse party XP
And "Prison Sex" by Tool also has a tendency to make me think of sober Gamzee... given the theme and tone of the song... it's kinda understandable.
"Express" from Burlesque gives me the image of Porrim singing and dancing to this song. With the other dancestor girls as her backup singers XP
"Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity" reminds me of John Egbert and "Venus, the Bringer of Peace" reminds me of Kanaya and/or the Dolorosa.
...yes I am aware these are all Homestuck-related and no I'm not sorry. Songs always make me thing of characters or people so I'll add them as I listen.

Baby Doll Gone Wrong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJhsM2Mmxv4) This song really makes me think of Kyouko Sakura from Puella Magi. It really shows that punk personality, and her will to fight. Even though i am sure i am the only one who has seen this anime.

Oh I have so many of these, let me see which ones I remember for the moment...
"Full Circle" by Miley Cyrus. This song for some reason always seems to remind me of Squirrelpaw/Squirrelflight and Leafpaw/Leafpool in the second Warriors series ("Midnight" in particular) during their separation from one another, specifically the separation anxiety that Leafpaw goes through during that time.
"Amsterdam" by Coldplay also always invokes ideas for Amsterdam, my lion, and how I want to plot his attempted suicide.

There's several songs by Billy Ray Cyrus that make me think of Dipstick....and how I imagine his feelings for Rebecca.. for DWoW, His Shoes, Someday Somewhere Somehow, and You Won't Be Lonely Now. Ra's Do You Call My Name is my character Swafi's theme song... xP I had this whole animation sequence planned out in sequence with it, but .. ya know, lacking the talents for something that huge. Because You Loved Me - Celine Dion, totes Duni and Alice's couple song. If Walls Could Talk - Celine Dion also.. FenxEnlee  So Magical.. I forget by whom but it makes me think of Prince and me thanks to someone's fanmade video.. x3 |

Alter Ego by the Clique Girls reminds me of my relationship between Candle and her virus self during her AU. Its something that i think could really work for them.

"Aenema" by Tool is reminding me of both my characters Jay and Marino, as well as Ginger. They're all pessimists and have a really cynical view on life so I figure it fits.
"Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rythm of the War Drums" by A Perfect Circle fits Lorenzo's manipulation of Sable... really well. Like to the point where it makes ME scared for Sable.
Renard's album "Silence" (don't listen if you're easily frightened by creepy music) I can imagine poor Maedorah hearing as she walks through an abandoned asylum, haunted by tortured and demonic spirits (since she can sense the prescence of dead souls and demons). And... the imagery I get listening to it scares the shit out of ME. And Maedorah can REALLY feel and hear every bit of it... so I feel really, really awful for poor Mae.
"Go Away" by Godsmack fits Aiden. He thinks people are fucking idiots and he hates having to deal with them day-to-day. "Cryin' Like a Bitch" also fits Aiden and Darren's I-fucking-hate-your-gut's relationship.
"Digital Love" by Daft Punk is a definite Latula/Mituna song <3
"Shut Up and Kiss Me" by Orianthi fits Ashlynn and Devin to a complete and total T.
"Yourbiggestfan" by Nevershoutnever is also a good song for Milo and Arya.
"I Hate U" by Simon Curtis fits how I feel about my ex-crush.
"Flesh" by Simon Curtis very much reminds me of Jay and Aiden. Huehueheueheueheu... CB
And holy shit I'm sure there's still more, but I don't wanna clog this up too much.
