Horribly unoriginal title, shh XP Closed to Phantom and I; set maybe a couple of weeks after Scamp's Adventure.
Phantom as Danielle
Partner as Angel
Yawn slipped free of her maw as Angel stretched lazily, rolled onto her side. There was a lot to be said for having a home, having a family - and one such thing was that she could wake up feeling warm, comfortable, and tempted just to go back to sleep, as opposed to waking up cold and stiff from having nothing but a pile of junk to sleep on top of. Right now, the pom-mix felt about as comfortable as she could possibly be, laying upon a luxuriously soft cushion, the morning sun streaming in through the window and bathing her in an extremely pleasant warmth. Raising her hind leg, Angel gave herself a vigorous scratch beneath her new collar, sighed in utter contentment as she set her leg back down.
Though she wasn't one to laze around without purpose for long, Angel nonetheless felt as though she could lie in her present spot all morning. Scamp had been dragged off to the vet, with Tramp accompanying him and Jim Dear to keep the rambunctious pup in line; Lady was out with Darling and Junior; and the cocker sisters were elsewhere in the house, engaging in girly activities that Angel knew she would never feel like she was a part of. Watching Annette and Collette fuss over bows and accessories, trying to find which matched their collars the best, all struck Angel as a fairly ridiculous pasttime that she didn't much want to involve herself in. So, as far as Angel was aware, she had plenty of space to herself, to do whatever she wanted; not that what she wanted presently ammounted to much.
Of course, her peaceful morning was certainly too good to last for much longer.
