I'm assuming at least a few people here like some anime or another. So I'm putting this up to see who likes what anime. My personal favorites consist of these: *The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya *Lucky Star *Fruits Basket *Death Note (the fandom is another matter, however) *Higurashi: When They Cry And if it counts, Vocaloid. XD So what are your favorite animes?

1.Pokemon 2.Dragonball Z 3.Digimon (01 and 02 were the best, 03 was good and dark, and Suzie was scary at times) 4.Yu-Gi-Oh! (original series was awesome, GX was good too, didn't get into 5Ds that much) 5.Naruto (lost interest around Shippuden) 6.Tenchi Muyo (pretty funny anime, Universe was a bit of a retcon of the first series, and 7.Tokyo was interesting at time) 8.Zatch Bell 9.One Piece (Funimation dub was better than the 4Kids dub) 10. Excel Saga

I only like a few anime these days but some I still care about for nostalgia. I'll go in order.
1.) BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Great English dub, a song that makes me cry, one of the only fictional characters I have a crush on, characters that many can relate to despite their anime tendencies (zaniness) and just a very interesting story about music and coming into your own. 2.) Yu Yu Hakusho. I love the characters, main and minor and it's the one time where I really loved watching anime action. They had powers but fighting style also played a huge part in it without the use of explosions and magic all the time. It was very much there but event then it was fun. I even love Kuwabara, a widely hated character. There's a little bit there for everyone. It's fun, it's dark, and it never wavers in being interesting. 3) Dragon Ball Z. I know I based it but... even now I have to confess that BAB which started out as a fantasy universe was just as inspired by it as any other anime here. I prefer Dragon Ball and the new stuff does bore me to be honest (no offense to anyone, I know it's still good, it's just not my taste.) but it's still something from my childhood and played a big part in me and my uncle's relationship. We would watch it together after I finished my homework. It'll always be precious to be for things like that. 4.) Death Note. See above -- me and my uncle bonded over this one as well, reading the manga together and even discussing theories! He's a big geek of anime, Star Wars, and many other things. We had a blast with i and we were both on Team L. Not to mention my uncle Himself is very much like Near with all his action figures. And even though the popularity is off the charts, this is an anime.manga I feel truly deserves all the attention it gets. 5) Pokemon. Admittedly, even though it is, I think of Pokemon as more a regular cartoon than anime. But still. I needn't say anything. I love Pokemon and always will... but I list interest once Misty left. It kills me that the next generation of Pokemon fans may not even know who she is. XD;; Me who loved Ash/Misty as my first couple ever. Me who still loves "Misty's song" form that one CD. 6) Digimon. I never understood the war with this one. ^^; I actually always preferred Digimon for having a darker tone for a kid's show. 7) Azumanga Daioh. The anime that got me into femslash. XD; Not in a pervy way but in a sentimental sense. It was strictly for fluff and nothing more. But on top of that, I always learned tiny bits and pieces about actual Japanese culture through this one. Again, it was minimal, but still fascinating to me.
I'm not sure how to rate the others but here are some others: School Rumble, InuYasha (ruined for me now but I have to pay my respects), xxxHolic, El Salvador, Big O, Cowboy Bebop
Wow... this makes me kind of want to go watch some of those.
Hellsing might go on their too but that one I really AM ashamed for liking.
Oh god, and Fruit's Basket but ONLY the anime. The manga... I can't even talk about it without getting in trouble. Ask anyone.

yup through every season the narrator would be like "We join Ash, a ten year old pokemon trainer."
i was just like ....really? he's still ten, and its like what the 12 season now, he still isn't the pokemon master, he is probably the worst pokemon trainer out htere

Thank God someone agrees with me about the old Dragon Ball series. ; Anyway, some of my faves in no order 'cept for the one at the top. XD Cowboy Bebop (LOVELOVELOVE- Possibly one of the best I've seen at this point. I especially love the music. I keep saying how we need to play Tank! in our jazz band <3) Lucky Star (The freakin' Seinfeld of anime- so funny. XD) Hamtaro (<333 Such great memories and a great show) Dragon Ball (the first series only, no Z or GT or anything else Zatch Bell (I remember when it used to play on Toonami (I keep getting that mixed up with Jetix XD) my cousin would always watch it when he'd visit in the summer & I'd watch with him <3) Pokemon (Of course I've only seen a few old episodes and started watching in the middle of Hoenn, but I still really love this show- even the new stuff.) Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power (They used to play this on 4Kids a lot when I was in 3rd grade, and every Saturday morning while waiting for the Winx Club to come on, we'd watch this, and I eventually came to love it c:) Happy Happy Clover (It's sooo adorable- any Hamtaro fans, I encourage you to check it out, it's almost like Hamtaro but with forest critters and a tad darker) Potemayo (<3) Kirby: Right Back At Ya! (Dunno if you'd count it, but it's Kirby. That's all that needs to be said.) These are all I can think of right now XD If I find any more I'll write 'em down.
