Rancis/Vanellope
If I see one more person using that book 'One Sweet Race' as evidence for this ship, I will punch something. They didn't even interact together in the movie that much and, in total, Rancis only has one line directed at Vanellope. I get that he's one of the only boys in Sugar Rush, but that's not a good reason to pair him with Vanellope. Especially when you use what is, at best, a semi-canon book as the basis for your ship. XP It just doesn't work in my eyes.

It's called One Sweet Race. As I said above. It's a Wreck-it Ralph book (that takes place after the movie, or that's what I'm assuming) focusing on Rancis and how Vanellope helps him win a race by making a new kart with him. Shippers use it as an excuse to ship Rancis with Vanellope. Someone actually did post the book (or rather, pictures of the pages in the book) if you want to read it. It's got a bit of a spoiler in it, though, so... yeah. rebloggy.com/post/wreck-it-ralph-vanellope-von-schweetz-sugar-rush-rancis-fluggerbutter-one-sweet/35619181125

The main reason I'm not a huge fan of Deathly Hallows part 1 is that it provided the initial material for my two least-favourite Harry Potter ships of all time.
Hermione/Bellatrix and Hermione/Scabior
Apologies to anyone who ships, but I just... no. I do not like those ships. I DO NOT LIKE them at all. The first one should be obvious... Bellatrix was freaking TORTURING her, how that can be the basis for a ship is beyond me ...and the second one, just... he smelt her perfume and flirted only very slightly while capturing her... having a ship based on something as insubstantial as that is the dumbest thing ever.
...then again, I'm just very picky with Hermione ships in the first place (there are only... maybe three that I actually care for), but those two are my absolute least favourites.
...or Hermione/Greyback. I haven't seen anyone who ships that yet, thankfully, but I'm sure someone somewhere does, and if I ever come across it then I'm going to punch something. You do not ship any character with a pedophile werewolf unles you really, really, REALLY hate them -_-

This one is somewhat spoilery if you haven't seen Wreck-it Ralph, so... you have been warned. I will be shrinking the font size for your convenience. Feel free to just scroll past my comment if you haven't seen the movie and don't wish to have a spoiler thrown in your face.
Vanellope/Turbo.
No. No, no, no, no, NO. I just don't understand the basis for this pairing. He essentially tried to kill her (both by trying to delete her code and by trying to slam her into a freaking wall at the end of the final race), effectively erased her memories of her life prior to his interference, and made the whole game turn against her because she was glitched. How in any way does that equal a good ship? If anything, I'd think Vanellope would be afraid of him rather than loving him. Just... URGH. No. I cannot stand this ship. At all.

aw but Phantom don't you know? Getting everyone to hate you is the way to love! Trying to kill you means the greatest love of all! :X
but i completely agree.
Candle/Turbo-Just...Just how! HOW THE HECK DOES THIS WORK! Someone explain to me! I've seen several pics on Deviantart of them being shipped together and i do not...just cannot comprehend!

@ Paws - while I don't like the ship any more than you do, I can at least understand why people might want to ship it. Ginny is supposed to be a lot like Lily Evans, is she not? It's just people attempting to recreate Snape's only canon love without needing to find a way to resurect Lily herself.
(and interestingly enough, there's nothing to directly opose that ship idea - aside from just their personalities in general - because they never have any shown interaction at all in the entirety of the series.)

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what the basis of the fanfiction was. That he was attempting to seduce her (I think, anyway- it was quite some time ago) because she reminded him so much of Lily Evans.

I honestly think that similarity would just make Snape even more harsh and short-tempered with her - especially since he undoubtedly knows about her crush on Harry; painful reminder of Lily's preference for James, much? - and it certainly would do nothing to endear her to him. But that could just be me XP

i don't under s t and why people ship sOLLUX/EQUIUS? ?? i what. and speaking personally, i'm not fond of amporacest (eridan/cronus). i know people seem to have raging erections for the family (i love eridan and all, and have very mixed feelings for cronus but like... srsly), but eh... i just don't like it much. i do like vantascest (karkat/kankri) a bit, thanks to my friend but... eh...
