yeah i always saw it as twenty three as well but according to this riseoftheguardians.wikia.com/wiki/Tooth <interesting facts. her psychical age is 15-17 so yeah. i may change it cuz...well she doesn't look like it. and the feathers were the main reason i saw her as a gypsy plus the cool looking feathers that look like gyspy earrings and braclets. so yay! i accomplished something cool |

XD I feel like they gave her that age because she had a crush on Jack. *apparently that's the most popular het ship in the fandom. *shrugs* I don't think she's that age according to the books. Yeah, that's totally what I thought too! About the colors and bracelets and things <  |

yeah. i prefer SweetTooth, hence why i am going to make it so she's in her twenties. I am just trying to think of how the tooth palace comes into play. She'll probably take over the whole healing thing when her mom passes but still likes to tell stories to the kids.
i do know that the reason why it is the way it looks, cuz she wanted to remmeber all the places she visited on her travels.

lol, i don't either, i just thought it was interesting, i didn't even think "oh hey they made her that age because jack's her love interest." but i am going to change it, it makes more sense that way.
and yeah, it would be the matter of, hmm how is she going to build it and where do the baby fairies come in.

the full verison! I kind of like it now. and i wanted the Mini Tooth Fairies to be something adorable along with baby tooth.

Tatyana or “Tanya” as people called her back when she was alive, spent most of her life on the road. She traveled around with her mother who was a healer. She grew to love the sites of the world, enjoying and observing it through a different set of eyes. The young girl often would entertain children with dancing and telling tales of her travels. The children loved it and would often be upset when their families had gotten their medicine or advice from her mother. Tanya was always so upset when they had to part ways, so she gave each children a small silver coin for them to remember her by.
Wherever she went, she would have stories to tell and memories to share with the children of the world. She loved every second of it. Seeing the children’s smiles and their requests for more and more stories.
It was in the middle of becoming an adult that her mother passed away. Tanya took over and became a healer in honor of her mother while still dancing and entertaining children. At the age of 23, was when she died. While out on the town, she noticed commotion, a fire in a local building was burning down.
Though there were many out already, Tooth caught sight of two young kids, no older than four stuck inside. Disobeying orders from the “authorities,” she rushed to get them out. Ignoring the heat and possible damage to her body, Tanya grabbed the kids and helped them through the inferno.
Though they survived, she did not. Some of the building collapsed on top of her.
As her life faded from her eyes, she saw the moon and gave a small smile thinking ‘I protected them and their memories. That’s all I wanted.’
What seemed like hours or years, Tanya awoke to find herself in a new body. Rainbow feathers covered her body and in the reflection her eyes were now pink. She thought it was strange but she thought it was something that she could have gotten used to.
She was just like her favorite animal. The bird. Wanting to tell others that she was okay, especially her mother, she was about to run out of the building when the moon spoke to her. Telling her of what she was and her purpose. Finding it odd that the moon talked to her, however Toothina did not question it.
According to MIM, she was meant to collect teeth of young children. So she did just that, however, the whole “leaving a coin under their pillow” was her idea. At first when she had done it, she would give the kids the same silver coins that she had back when she was a teenager.
In a way, it was what made her happy to know that lucky children would always remember her. But that changed from different coins when years came to pass
However, as time passed, it got more and more heavy on the girl /woman. She really hadn’t thought about a place to keep the teeth or how she would actually do all traveling in one night.
Enter the other fairies. These fairies, however were not made specifically just by MIM, they are actually tiny pieces of tooth’s knowledge of the world and past life.
Baby Tooth, is a different matter. She represents all of her childhood memories and hopes. In a way 'Baby Tooth" is the essence of tooth before she became a guardian.
As reguards to Tooth palace, Toothina or Tooth made it so that each part of it represented a place she once visited when she traveled with her mother.
