At last, the Sprinksmidge came to a stop and Vanellope hopped out again. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she retrieved the key from her pocket and held it out for Priscilla and Candlehead to see. "Got it! Made pretty good time, too, at least as far as I can tell." Vanellope said. She hadn't even had to glitch her way there to make it there and back again as quickly as she had. That was something the black-haired racer was rather proud of. While having her glitching power was cool, there were times when Vanellope decided not to rely on it. This was one of those times.
"So, you guys wanna go on a tour of the game? Might be helpful to get to know the layout before you start racing. But hey, what do I know? I bet you have a pretty good idea of it already." Vanellope said. She didn't know that for certain, but it was a hunch she wanted to go on regardless. Being patched in didn't mean that Priscilla knew nothing about the game, or at least she hoped that wasn't the case. She also didn't want to treat her like she didn't know anything, though.

Priscilla's eyes lit up. "That would be great, i mean i have heard of the layout but getting to experience it first hand would be grand fun." Candle almost gagged, was this how her sister tried to get people to believe her act? "I mean if you don't mind, you are the president after all, you must be busy."

"All right! Let's go, then!" Vanellope exclaimed. She handed the key to Priscilla at last and then used her free hand to motion to the area they were in. "We'll start here. This is the fix-it station. If your kart gets broken during a race, you can take it here after to get it fixed. You can also come here to get tune ups and stuff." Vanellope said. It was easier when Felix would come to visit so he could use his magic hammer, but Vanellope would admit that having the station was worth it. It was handy to have a place to get warped to so they could get their karts fixed.
"From here, we can probably just walk around. That way you can really see everything." she said. She didn't know about the others, but when she was zipping along the tracks she found it hard to focus on the surroundings due to speed. Walking made it easier to take in their surroundings. One thing she had noticed, at least while speaking with Priscilla so far, was that the new racer seemed... sweet. It was almost a kind of sweet that was too much for Vanellope to handle, but she thought it would probably die down after a little while.

Priscilla nodded along as she took the key. Now she was really excited. As Vanellope explained what the fix-it-station. She couldn't help but wonder how many times karts did get broken. "Do karts get broken often?" she asked, voicing her own thoughts. "I mean, i would think that at least safety is important but does it happen."
"Well, duh. It's bound to happen. You didn't think that this was just a simple race where karts wouldn't get destoryed did you?" her sister asked sourly. "There are seekers and stuff that can make it so that the karts actually do get destoryed."

"Yeah, it gets pretty dangerous out here when you're in a really heated race." Vanellope said. She'd seen it happen a few times, and she'd even caused it to happen with sweet seekers and the ice cream items. It had even happened to her a few times when she was in the hands of an inexperienced player. "You got sweet seekers, ice cream globs, cherry bombs, and then the tracks can get pretty dangerous themselves. Gumball Canyon is pretty nasty if you don't know how to avoid the gumballs, and you can potentially fall off the track in certain places." she said. Just thinking about it was enough to make her glitch just a little with uneasiness. She'd once sent Taffyta spiraling off the side of the track in the caverns within Ice Cream Mountain, and the blonde had been none too pleased when she'd respawned.
"If you've got a good gamer handling you, you don't have to worry so much. But sometimes you get unlucky." Vanellope said. She'd been reflecting a little on what Candlehead had said in her answer, and the confusion had piqued in Vanellope's mind again. She hardly ever heard Candlehead speak with such a sour tone, at least not since she'd had her memories restored, so she could only wonder what was causing it.

Priscilla nodded, seeming to understand. "It sounds like an awful like the game i was in. Sometimes you get good drivers and other times...well, like you said, sometimes you get unlucky. But fail once you just keep trying until you get better." the fellow green haired girl put a finger to her chin. "Are there any racers that i should be prepared for, you know besides yourself Madame President."

Vanellope shrugged in response. She didn't know how to answer, really, as the roster was entirely random every day. Vanellope knew that she, Taffyta, Rancis, and a handful of others were all capable racers, but it all depended on who actually won the random roster races. "Depends on who actually gets put on the roster each day. At the end of the day, we all gotta participate in one last race called the random roster race. It's where all of us go through all the tracks in the game, and the first nine to cross the finish line get selected for the next day's gamers to use." Vanellope explained. It was difficult to really say who to look out for, but she did have a few ideas.
"Candlehead's pretty good," Vanellope began, remembering a time when she had gotten pretty far ahead and then knocked back by a sweet seeker Candlehead had fired at her. It had been what made Vanellope end up in tenth place for that particular race, even with her glitch powers keeping her out of last place. "Then there's Taffyta. She's got a pretty slick set of skills, and Rancis can be pretty tricky when he wants to be. ...Actually, I'd say we're all pretty good in our own way." Vanellope told her. Even the less popular racers were pretty good as far as Vanellope could tell. It was all a matter of luck for each racer and even more so when it came to items.

At the response of Candle being a good racer, caused her to blink in disbelief. her sister. good at racing? That didn't make sense. "Well, i'll be sure to keep an eye out for any of them, especially you little sis, don't think that you can beat me so easily." her green eyes lit up playfully.
"Oh boy, i can't wait." Candle replied as enthusiatic as she could. Racing with her sister was like a turtle racing a hare. Except, for the fact that in this tale the hare won, and Candle was always left in the dirt. "So, when is the next race?"

"The next race? Let me think..."
Vanellope had lost track of time with the excitement of Priscilla coming to join the party, and so she had to try and remember if the random roster race had been held that day or not. After a few moments, though, she did remember. "The next races won't start until the arcade opens tomorrow. Random roster race got finished up about an hour before you showed up." Vanellope said. Maybe that was a good thing, and maybe it wasn't. The little President kind of wanted to see how good Candlehead's sister was in an actual race, but she'd have to wait until the next random roster race to see for sure.
"Anyway, what are we standing here for? We've still got plenty of game to see!" Vanellope told them. The tracks needed to be traversed, they needed to see the candy cane forest, and they could probably stop off by Diet Cola Mountain to see the outside of what she'd used to call home. The inside had been disintegrated, all thanks to Ralph's quick thinking with making the beacon from the mentos and cola, but the outside still looked pretty awesome.

Candlehead glanced at her sister for another moment. "Uh, you two go ahead. I...have some stuff to do." she replied quickly. "You know fix-up my kart to be sure its up to the expectations." she gave Priscilla a smirk. "Wouldn't want my sis to have to see me driving in a broken kart." she gave an uneasy laugh, before turning her gaze away from the other green haired girl, not wanting her to see how uncomfortable she was.
This was like her worst nightmare come true. For once, she thought she would be able to get away from the nightmares, all of them. All the names, and the belittling, but now it was going to be worse.

"Aw, come on, Candlehead. I could get a few of those marshmallow guys to come fix it up for you if you want." Vanellope offered. The marshmallows probably were just hanging around with nothing to do since the races were finished up, and it looked like Candlehead would need a hand. Vanellope had seen the marshmallows fixing up karts before. Surely they could fix Candlehead's kart right then. "Then we could hang out together. The three of us!" she said. She wasn't completely oblivious to the sort of discomfort Candlehead seemed to be experiencing, though. At the first opportunity, Vanellope would try to ask Candlehead what was going on. Alone, preferably. She hadn't seen her friend act like she was before then, and it was admittedly bothering Vanellope a little.

"Um, well..." Candlehead muttered. "O...okay, i guess that's alright." After all, Priscilla seemed to be nicer to her when Vanellope was around, as was her little game. "Yeah, okay." again she adjusted her hat before joining the two girls again.
"Great, its more fun taking a tour with more people." the fellow green eyed girl nodded. "Now, show me everything!"

"You got it! But first..."
Vanellope glanced around in the hopes of spotting a pair of floating marshmallows, and luck was on her side within the moment. There was a pair floating by, and Vanellope waved to them to get their attention. "Hey, Puffy! Fluffy!" Vanellope called. She had no idea if those were their real names, but at the moment Vanellope didn't care. The pair floated down and she proceeded to motion to Candlehead's kart. "My friend here needs a quick fix job. Think you two can handle it?" Vanellope asked.
The two marshmallows glanced at one another, then Candlehead's kart, and finally back at Vanellope. They nodded and proceeded to go over to the kart in question, leaving Vanellope to act as a tour guide for Priscilla with Candlehead in tow. She grinned from ear to ear and looked to the two sisters again, motioning for them to follow.
"Right this way, ladies. Let the grand tour of Sugar Rush begin!"
With that, Vanellope started what should have been a walking tour. Walking was boring to the young President at that moment, though, so she opted to pick up the pace and lead Candlehead and Priscilla on a running tour. She didn't doubt the two would be able to keep up. After all, she had her glitching power under control. She wasn't about to start zipping ahead without them.

Priscilla couldn't help but laugh as she ran after the young president. Though there was no chance in the world that seh could keep up with her, the asian looking racer was having fun, trying to keep up with her. Racing was her game as probably were many, so what if she wasn't as fast on her feet. "Keep up slow poke!" she called over to Candle, who was running a bit slower than the other two

Right. The first stop is the candy cane forest.
Vanellope glanced behind her to make sure the two sisters were keeping up and proceeded to lead the pair toward the forest she and Ralph had met in. Of course it held sentimental value to the young President; if she hadn't been there when she had, she'd never have met Ralph and she never would have set things in motion for them to become good friends. Admittedly, she did miss the wrecker sometimes. However, she assumed he was busy at the moment and didn't necessarily want to bother him. That would come at a later opportunity.
"This here is the candy cane forest. Great place to come and relax after a long day of racing." Vanellope said. She waved her hands in a swooping motion and gestured to the trees around them. "Only things you gotta watch out for here are the double stripe branches and the potential Nesquiksand pits. Never fallen into one of those myself, but a friend of mine said they're not a good thing to fall into." Vanellope told them as she started to slow down a bit. It had been Felix who had told her about his and Calhoun's experience. She couldn't help but laugh a little at the memory of the handy man's story, especially the part with the Laffy Taffies.
