At that, Vanellope smiled a little. She was glad that Candlehead wasn't upset with her. In all actuality, she was grateful she hadn't been abandoned when she'd started feeling horrible. The last thing Vanellope wanted was to be declared a virus and shoved back into the state of an outcast all over again. "Thanks, Candlehead. I'm gonna try... can't guarantee anything, though." she said. The best she could hope for was feeling less like doodie, and even then she didn't think that was going to happen right away.
"Yes... it would be helpful to know what happened to you, too. But only if you feel up to trying to tell us." Sour Bill said. He'd have liked to know as soon as possible, but even he could see that trying to push Vanellope into telling them anything might not have been a good idea. All they could do was lead her to her room and get her comfortable. Then, and only then, could they try to learn what had happened.
It was fortunate that Vanellope's room was as close as it was by that point. When Sour Bill saw the door, he opened it and proceeded to make his way inside with the assumption that Candlehead and Vanellope would follow. From there, he'd help get the little President comfortable and start trying to figure out a way to help get the virus out of her system. It was fortunate, at least Sour Bill thought, that Ralph hadn't decided to pay Sugar Rush a visit that day. Who knew what the wrecker would say or how he would react to knowing his best friend had suddenly come down with a virus?

Candle smiled a tiny smile, but a part of her was wanting to scream that it was all priscilla's fault. That the newcomer should go back to where she came from! Back to her own game. That however almost made her a bad person though.

Finally breaking away from being at Candlehead's side, Vanellope almost immediately proceeded to slump over on her bed, kicked off her boots, and bundle herself up in her blanket. It wasn't as though she felt cold, but somehow she thought it would be more comfortable to be in her blanket. "Ugh... why did this even happen? All I did was glitch..." Vanellope paused, her body glitching a bit, and appeared to be thinking over what had happened. It had felt a little different that particular time, like there was something odd about someone's coding.
"It did feel kinda different. I dunno if it was just 'cause I was glitching with you and Priscilla or if there was something else involved, though." Vanellope finally said. She had finally noticed that she sounded tired by that point, and it felt like her throat was a little soar. Whatever had caused the virus, Vanellope wished she would be over it soon. She didn't want to feel like doodie anymore.
"...What felt different?" Sour Bill asked. He looked to Candlehead as though he thought maybe she had an answer, but in truth the ball of sour candy had no idea if she or Vanellope truly knew what had happened. Vanellope probably had a better idea because she was the one that had performed the glitch, but maybe Candlehead had noticed something about the feel of the code...? He didn't know. All Sour Bill could hope for was answers.

Candle shook her head. "You've never glitched more than two people before right? Maybe that's what went wrong. I mean...how else would it be explained. Maybe Priscilla has a new kind of game-code, after all she came from a different game. Maybe..maybe her code effected you."

"That's true... I did say that." Vanellope said. She coughed again, glitching once more in the process, and frowned a big old frown. If all it was was her glitching with more than one person, then maybe she was worrying about history repeating itself for no reason. Maybe it really was just the new code effecting her old, previously glitched code. "I mean, the most I've glitched with before has been Ralph. Maybe that's all it is." she finally said. Sour Bill, however, didn't appear to have believed what had been said. He felt as though there was something else to it, but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. Vanellope was probably the only one that could feel coding like she could, and if she had felt something off then he wanted to know about it. However, he would just have to put up with what little they had to go on and accept the girls' conclusion that it was just Priscilla's code having come from another game that had effected Vanellope. "I suppose so. Do try to rest, Madame President." he finally said. Trying to cover up his concern, obviously. Sour Bill had already let enough slip. Vanellope probably hadn't noticed it, though, seeing as she had been somewhat delirious before. When he saw Vanellope nod a little in response, he turned to take his leave. "I shall take my leave, then. Call me if you need anything." Sour Bill said. And with that, Sour Bill exited. ---- (ooc: And now, I think it would be a good time to introduce Taffyta to Priscilla. ) All things considered, it had been a relatively slow and frustrating day. The racing had helped speed things along, naturally, but Taffyta was irritated. Taffyta had learned that Rancis was preoccupied with spending time with Gloyd and the other girls had other things to do. Naturally, this included Candlehead. The blonde racer had noticed that Candlehead had been spending more time with Vanellope as of late, and that fact bothered her. She wasn't going to lie about the fact that she was jealous of Vanellope's popularity. The girl had been a glitch before and retained her powers, yet the players adored her. It was enough to make Taffyta want to punch something as hard as possible. So, she had decided to just race around Sugar Rush to get her mind off of things. She could lie all she wanted to the others, make it seem like she wasn't bothered by Vanellope's obvious popularity, but she knew it was no good trying to lie to herself. She hated Vanellope's popularity. Sure, Taffyta wasn't treating Vanellope like an outcast anymore, but that didn't mean she couldn't dislike her. She just wanted to get as far away from wherever Vanellope was and just vent to herself. That would be better than trying to interrupt whatever it was Rancis was doing. However, as Taffyta zipped along, she caught sight of something rather odd. She came to a stop and hopped out of her kart as soon as it caught her eye. There, near the fixing station, was Vanellope's kart and Candlehead's kart. Taffyta's blue eyes narrowed with suspicion as she approached the pair of karts. It wasn't normal to see karts just unattended like that. "Where'd those two go off to now?" Taffyta wondered out loud.

"Looking for Candle and Vanellope?" Priscilla asked, walking up to the blonde, a piece of pockey sticking out of her mouth like a toothpick. her green eyes narrowed a bit in more challenge, she could tell that the racer before her was probably just as tough as she looked. But there was only so much the fellow racer could tell. She wanted to know exactly who this blonde was.

Taffyta turned at the sound of someone speaking to her and just kind of stared for a couple of seconds. Whoever this new girl was, she looked an awful lot like Candlehead. Taffyta didn't know whether to be bothered by this fact or to be grateful for it. At length, though, Taffyta frowned a little and shook her head. "Me? Looking for them? Hardly. I was just wondering what their karts were doing out here without them." Taffyta replied. She knew Candlehead's kart had taken a beating in the last race, but Vanellope's really hadn't. Taffyta couldn't imagine what the two karts were doing there.
"Actually, I was trying to avoid them. I just happened on this by chance." she huffed. Taffyta was just glad that neither of the girls was there. If they were, they'd surely try to strike up a conversation with her. At the present moment, Taffyta wasn't particularly keen on speaking with Vanellope. Candlehead maybe, but not their President. "...Who are you, anyway? I've never seen you around here before." she said.

"Good thing, they were really starting to bug me. Too cheery for my own taste." Priscilla replied, with a smirk. "Glad to see that someone here has a little more spunk than the rest of this crew. Didn't get that back at my own game let me tell you." the green haired girl replied. "Name's Priscilla, Priscilla Poxie, new racer here at Sugar Rush. Oh, and Candle's big sister but that's not important."

Candlehead had a sister? That was new. Regardless of that fact, Taffyta had a feeling she was going to like Priscilla already. Anyone that was sick of how optimistic and perky Vanellope was was automatically okay in Taffyta's book. She extended her hand to shake Priscilla's and smirked a little. "Taffyta Muttonfudge, previously one of the best racers in the game before Vanellope stole my thunder." Taffyta said. ...Okay, so maybe the jealousy was more obvious than she thought. That wasn't a big deal, though.
"It doesn't help that Vanellope pretty much stole Candlehead from me and Rancis. She used to be our friend, but now all she does is hang out with that... that... ugh! I can't even call her a glitch anymore!" Taffyta groaned. She hated it more than words could describe. Part of her did regret treating Vanellope badly when she was made a glitch, but the majority of her being missed having Candlehead as a close friend. "...Sorry. It's just been frustrating me." she finally said.

"Don't worry about it." Priscilla replied shaking the girl's hand. "I don't think i could handle that perky talk any longer, glad i got out of there while i did." she bit the pokey once more before smirking. "It's good to know that someone around here had the guts to tell that glitch what's what."

Oh... Taffyta was definitely going to like this girl. She thought along the same lines as she did. This was a very, very wonderful development. "You have no idea how happy hearing that makes me. I was getting sick of putting on an act and pretending that I like her." Taffyta said. It then struck her: Priscilla had referred to Vanellope as a glitch, but she wasn't from their game. So... did Priscilla know that Vanellope used to be a glitch? If that was the case, Taffyta wanted to know how it was possible. But she could ask that later. She did kind of want to know why Vanellope and Candlehead's karts had been seemingly abandoned.
"So, what's the deal with her ugly kart and Candlehead's kart being out here without them?" she decided to ask. Almost out of spite, Taffyta proceeded to kick the fender of Vanellope's kart. Just for the sake of it, and for the sake of saying she had been able to do it at least once.

"Well, they were taking me on the tour of Sugar Rush, to give me the "super happy warm welcome" she put on her biggest fake smile she could. Priscilla glanced at Candle's kart. "Her's was getting fixed, at least that's what she said before we left." The asian looking candlehead rolled her eyes glancing at Candle's birthday cake styled kart.
"Really takes the whole birthday thing overboard." she muttered

"A tour? Really? Like they thought you couldn't figure out the layout for yourself?" Taffyta asked. She knew Candlehead wasn't the brightest candle on the birthday cake, but taking her sister on a tour of the game? That seemed... really, really dumb. She rolled her eyes a little at that thought; leave it to Candlehead and Vanellope to come up with a dumb idea like that. She glanced at Candlehead's kart upon hearing Priscilla's remark and scoffed a little. Under normal circumstances, the blonde racer probably would have opted to leave Candlehead alone. As it was, though, she was angry with the green-haired candle wearing racer for seemingly betraying her for Vanellope. This meant that Taffyta could make fun of her without her knowing.
"I get that Candlehead's theme is cupcakes and stuff, but that's a little excessive." Taffyta finally said. She didn't even know where to begin on Vanellope's kart. The thing looked like a mismash of everything but the kitchen sink, it had way more sprinkles scrunched up on one side than there were on the other, the colors were ugly (at least in her opinion), and it just looked like a mess. The signature on the side was even more laughable. As if Vanellope needed to proclaim to the world that it was a work of art or something that she and that large wrecker had made together. "And where'd they end up after you ditched them anyway?"

"A little?" Priscilla smirked. "I may be named after Poxy but you don't see me decorating my cart like it." she rolled her eyes. "I guess they thought i was too stupid to do it on my own. I mean its not like i'm a racer or anything!" Her fist clenched a bit in anger. Her green eyes finally turned to face Tafftya once again. sighign, she took a seat on the hood of the candlehead kart.
"Something about madame president being sick and feeling funny. They left to go to the candy castle."

"Candle definitely isn't the brightest candle on the cake. Figures she'd think you'd need help, and Vanellope... yeah. It figures she'd wanna try to be that oh-so-helpful leader." Taffyta said. She rolled her eyes a little and decided to join Priscilla near Candlehead's kart. It felt good being able to vent about the two with someone again. Before the game had been reset, Rancis and Candlehead had been her go-to people for that. As it was then, though, Rancis generally didn't seem to think Vanellope was so bad and Candlehead had gone back to being Vanellope's friend. It made for rather lonesome venting sessions in Taffyta's house.
Taffyta was brought out of those thoughts when Priscilla answered her question. The answer caused her to pause for a moment as it processed in her mind, then resulted in a nasty little grin forming on her face. Vanellope had caught some sickness out of the blue? That would mean she wouldn't be racing in the random roster race the next day, which meant that Taffyta had a shot to regain lost ground from becoming slightly less popular. "Good. That means the two of us can dominate the races while she recovers and have little competition in the process." she laughed.
