"It's huge..." Prscilla's eyes went wide at the sight of all the trees. Candle looked confused for a moment, "Didn't you have one in your game?"
Priscilla turned to Candle with a tilted head. "No, we had something called the Licorice Valley though, if you weren't careful where you went, the vines would grab onto your wheels and then throw you somewhere else. It never happened to me, but the majority of beginners often were thrown into the lake." She turned back to the trees and stared at the gooey lake in front of her. "And these...gumdrops, you cross them to get to the trees? Or are they there just for show?"

"Wow... sounds intense." Vanellope said. She didn't want to imagine what it would be like to be flung into a lake wherever Priscilla had originated from. It was bad enough having your kart wrecked or getting smushed by a gum ball. Getting thrown into a lake didn't sound pleasant at all. ...Not that the other two sounded pleasant to Vanellope. In response to Priscialla's question regarding the gum drops floating in the taffy ponds where some of the trees grew, Vanellope nodded. "Yeah, you just hop across the gum drops and grab on to the tree if you find the one you want to climb is in the taffy." she told her. She snickered a little as she finished her statement.
"Reminds me of this one time, a while back, when one of my friends first was here. He was all covered in that taffy and... ah, never mind. You'd have to have been there. It was kind of freaky, but funny to think about now." she admitted. It seemed that Ralph was suddenly starting to pop into her mind a bit more frequently. Vanellope chalked that fact up to her being in the place where she first met him and stole his medal, though. There was no more reason it could have happened.
"Anyway, shall we move on?"

"Yeah it would get really intense, especially at the final laps. It could often get really crazy, especially with all the items and stuff people could get..." Priscilla said. "But i'm sure worst things have happened in this game too." standing up again, she turned and nodded at Vanellope's question of moving on. She wanted to see all of it.

Vanellope proceeded to walk forward, but decided to keep the conversation going as they headed to their next destination. They could cut through the forest and head to the starting line from there, which meant they could walk along the tracks and see what there was to see without risking anything too dangerous. "I think the most dangerous stuff we have to worry about here are the gum balls and crashing into each other. Oh, and getting knocked off the track at certain points. Not fun." Vanellope said. It was particularly unfun when it came to Ice Cream Mountain, wherein there was a cavern with a part of the track that had no railing. It was the rainbow sugar road, at least as some of the racers referred to it, and it could be a dangerous track to traverse.
"Anyway, through here we have a short cut to the main track. Nothing too fancy in terms of the track, but you can see all the cool stands and stuff from here. See?" Vanellope asked. She had lead the trio through the forest and was walking past a particularly large tree on a hill overlooking the area in question. They had a decent view, which meant they could see the various candies leading up to the track. There were the fields of lolly pops, which Vanellope could remember Ralph breaking through to try and get his medal back from her, and other assorted candies scattered about. She could also see the stands she'd mentioned and smiled a little as she looked them over.
"Each racer has their specific fans, and they sit in those stands to watch the races." she said. She still didn't know if she had a specific stand or not, but by that point Vanellope didn't care. It was more about being a racer and not needing the fans to acknowledge her. She knew who she was, and that was what was important.

"Every racer?" Priscilla raised an eyebrow. "Sounds like quite the crowd, and a lot of pressure. But then again, i always do better under that kind of thing." the fellow green haired girl was practically bouncing. "Oh I am so excited!"

Vanellope smirked a little at the reaction. In all honesty, she hadn't felt such nerves before. Well, she had, but the nerves she had felt had been prior to the very first random roster race she had participated in when King Candy was still around. "Yeah, but you hardly notice the crowd after a while. What's important is the thrill of the race. The wind in your hair, the candy dust being kicked up, it's all so awesome!" Vanellope exclaimed. She jumped up into the air and pumped her fist up, sharing the excitement of Priscilla for a moment, but then she remembered Candlehead. Her friend had fallen quiet for a time and Vanellope wanted to know why.
"You can check out the stands if you wanna, Priscilla. I'm not entirely sure if we could cover the entire track on foot since Gumball Canyon is pretty hard to traverse." Vanellope told her. She glanced at Candlehead, hoping her friend would catch on to the fact that she wanted to talk, and motioned slightly with her hand for her friend to come over. "We'll catch up in a sec." she added after a moment.

"Great." Priscilla smiled, and nodded before running off to look at the stands.
Candlehead rolled her eyes wanting to gag at her sister's goody goody act. it was enough to make her want to throw her in the gooey lake that they had just passed. However, it was relief when the sister left to search the stand. Catching Vanellope's eye, she knew that it was most likely going to be wanting to talk. 'Just get it over with Candle, it can't be as bad as the conversatiosn you've had with Prissy Poxie.' she thought.
"What's up?"

"I was gonna ask you that." Vanellope replied. She casually placed her hands in her pockets and frowned slightly. It wasn't an irritated look, but more troubled than anything else. She hated seeing her friend act odd, and this was a fine instance in which she wanted to know if there was something going on behind the scenes. "You've seemed a little off since Priscilla got here. I just wanna know what's up, that's all. Anything I need to know?" she asked. Being an only child, Vanellope didn't know much about tensions that could crop up between siblings. She wasn't dumb, though. Vanellope would have had to have been blind to miss the subtle discomfort that seemed to have cropped up.

"N-no, not really. She's just...well..." Candlehead hestitated. Did she want to call her sister a fake? Would she put it past her to go as far as to cheat? Well, seeing as that she had never seen her sister race. Biting her lip. she sighed. "It's just that she's my older sister, so its kind of like i've always been in her shadow, so now that she's here, what if she does that again?" that wasn't the least of Candle's worries but that was the one she voiced.
"I mean this is the game that makes me unique, she had her own game. Why is she even here?"

"Ohhhh..."
Vanellope nodded in an understanding manner as she brought one hand out of her pocket and gently put it on Candlehead's shoulder. While Vanellope didn't have a sibling to feel overshadowed by, she still did have an idea of what Candlehead was talking about. It was mostly because she'd felt like a misfit before when she had been classified as a glitch. The two might not have been the same things, but Vanellope still felt like she had some idea of the feeling. "I think I get it, and you don't gotta worry." she said. She didn't wait for Candlehead to ask what she meant, as she had something more to say.
"You're a great racer no matter what anyone says. Believe me, I've seen you race with everyone out here - before I was a racer and now - and I've seen what you can do. You just gotta show her you're as good as any of the rest of us." Vanellope said. She was beginning to wonder just why Priscilla had been patched in as well, as it did sound like she had come from another game. Maybe there was a reason Priscilla had been brought in to Sugar Rush, but she couldn't think of what it could be.

"You think so? Really?" Candle couldn't help but give a tiny smile and blushed a bit. No one had ever actually said that she was a good racer. Well except maybe a few of her fans. "Yeah, okay, i'll show her, i'll knock her into fifth place!" last place? Well that would have to wait. She just had to prove it. That she could beat her sister. Not just to Priscilla but to herself.

"Heck yeah! Remember that one random roster race? When you got me with those sweet seekers and made me spin out into tenth place? You have skill!" Vanellope replied. It just... took a while to shine through at times. Vanellope didn't want to say that much out loud, though. Making an offhanded remark on whether or not Candlehead was as bright as the others wasn't going to lead her down a good path in terms of the conversation. "You just gotta show her that whenever you get a chance. Then you should be good to go." she said.

"Right." Candle replied, her confidence growing more and more. "Thanks Vanellope."

"No problem." she said. Seeing Candlehead feeling more confident was enough to bring more of a smile to Vanellope's face. After all, she was still Candlehead's friend. Friends were supposed to make friends feel better when they were down, right? Right. It was only logical as far as Vanellope could see. "Now come on, let's go finish up this tour." Vanellope told her. She proceeded to look Priscilla's way and waved to her, indicating that they would be rejoining one another soon in her own little way.

"Something wrong?" the green haired girl asked looking almost concerned.
"Nope, don't worry about it, we were just talking about the random roster race. Nothing new. We wanted to be sure that you had a spot..." Candle said happily. "Come on, we got a tour to finish."
