"Yeah, we just wanted to make sure you had a spot for your kart in tomorrow's random roster race." Vanellope said as she and Candlehead came back to Priscilla. She'd have to remember to make sure to actually put her somewhere before the night was over, but that would come when it did.
"Now then, back to the tour. We could walk along the track here, but..." Vanellope hesitated. Walking would take them right into the heart of Gumball Canyon, and she didn't think it would be wise to risk getting smooshed by the balls as they fell from their dispensers. "It might be safer if we walk beside the tracks. That way the obstacles won't hit us." she said.

"Oh, well that's good to hear." Priscilla smiled brightly. "I can't wait!" (ooc: lazy post)

"All right. Right this way, guys."
Vanellope started to walk ahead, going off of the track and going between the Presidential stand and another stand that led to the side of the tracks. This, naturally, would be the path they would be taking. They could still see the track and would be safe this way. A win for all of them, she thought. "This is the most simple part of the track. What we're seeing here, I mean. Just a few turns and no real obstacles to worry about." Vanellope said, pointing to the simple track to the side of them as she spoke.
Wait... how are we going to get across the gap in Gumball Canyon?
The thought crossed Vanellope's mind as she walked, but it quickly left when she remembered he glitch power. She'd just have to hope that Priscilla would trust her enough to let her glitch her, herself, and Candlehead across the gap when they came to it. For the time being, though, they were fine. It was just a little walking they had to do.

"Is something wrong?" Priscilla asked, then she noticed the big gap. "Oh, that's our problem."

"Yeah... Gumball Canyon's got this gap. You can get across it no problem with your kart, and with those speed up strips along there," Vanellope gestured to the glowing stripes along one side of the canyon. They were handy when a racer needed a boost. "Now if we'd all brought our karts we could get across with no problem. As it stands, though..." Vanellope hesitated. Would Priscilla trust her enough to let her glitch them across? She supposed it was just a matter of finding out.
"I can get us across, but you're gonna hafta trust me on this. It's gonna be a little weird." Vanellope said. That might have been an understatement, especially in Priscilla's case since she'd only seem glimpses of Vanellope's glitch power earlier in the trip (or maybe she hadn't noticed), but that was how it was. Vanellope didn't see any other way of wording it. "So... you'll trust me, right?" she asked. Candlehead she knew she probably had the trust of. Her sister, though, was another matter entirely.

"Uh, sure. I mean if you can get us across, then no worries." Priscilla replied. "I mean i've seen weirder stuff so i don't think anything you can pull out can scare me that bad."

"Okay. Just don't let go." Vanellope instructed. She stepped back a pace so that she was standing between Candlehead and Priscilla and carefully gripped one hand from each girl with her own, closing her eyes after a moment so that she could concentrate. Somehow, it felt different to be readying herself with a glitch when she was going to be taking two people with her. Usually it was either just her or her kart, so she had no idea how well it would go over. The worst case scenario would have them falling and having to climb their way back out, while the best scenario would obviously have them get across safely. Vanellope could only hope that the worst didn't happen.
Okay. Just focus... and concentrate...
Vanellope was visualizing the other side of the canyon in her mind, seemingly losing herself in thought and all but ignoring the dull rolling sounds that came from the gumballs rolling back and forth in the smooth canyon, and after a few moments it would become noticeable that their bodies were beginning to pixelate as her brows creased together. There was also a tiny bit of perspiration forming, but it wasn't noticeable enough to comment upon. Then, at long last, Vanellope murmured one word.
"Glitch."
Zap!
To those beholding the scene, the trio would appear to have turned into a blur of blue coding zipping across the gap. A strange sight to behold if one was unaware of Vanellope's power, and even stranger to fully comprehend if one didn't know Vanellope had been a glitch up until a recent time. When the trio were safely across, the blue coding vanished and the three touched down on the safe, smooth ground of the pass they needed to walk across. When Vanellope fully appeared again, she let her hands drop to her knees and took a few moments to catch her breath.
"Never... had to... do that with... more than one... before..."

"Wow!" Priscilla smiled brighter than ever. "That was just amazing! I mean i knew you were amazing but wow i didn't know you could do that."
Candlehead rolled her eyes before smiling. "You okay Vanellope?"

"Yeah... yeah, I'll be okay. I've just never... glitched that far with more than just me and my kart. Or me, a kart, and Ralph." Vanellope replied. In all honesty, she was surprised that Priscilla wasn't freaking out. She'd almost expected the newest racer to have thought she was a glitch because of her abilities. But, she wasn't complaining. Just tired.
"I just gotta... catch my breath for... a bit..." Vanellope said. Recharging her power, as it were. The gamers knew that Vanellope's power could only be activated a certain number of times within a race. Well, outside the races Vanellope could do it as often as she liked as long as she didn't overexert herself. In this instance, the little President had nearly worn herself out completely just carrying two people plus herself across a rather large gap. So, obviously, she needed to rest for a bit before carrying on. However, in the back of her mind Vanellope thought as though something was off. She shouldn't have been tired... should she?

"Are you sure?" Candle asked worry in her green eyes. "You look really pale..." She glanced back at her sister, something just didn't sit well with her. Why wasn't she freaking out? Everyone freaked out with Vanellope's powers. Well that was a long time ago. But it just seemed that Priscilla was taking it too well.

"I... do...?"
Vanellope hadn't noticed it before, but she was beginning to feel a little off. Perhaps there was more to the glitch that had been performed than she had initially realized. As Vanellope made herself stand up straight again, she had to shake her head a little because, in her eyes, it looked as though things had begun to spin around her. Vanellope was also having trouble focusing her thoughts on anything in particular. She was still able to think about Candlehead's statement, though, and for that she mentally patted herself on the back. As tough as Vanellope liked to think she was, though, she knew something was off.
"Now that you mention it, Candle, I do feel a little..."
Then, she felt it; a tickling sensation in her throat and in the very code of her being. She coughed, and with each cough she started to glitch and twitch about. Even her glitching seemed off. The coloring, normally blue, appeared to have changed shades somewhat. Vanellope didn't notice that herself, though. When the coughing was through, Vanellope swayed for a moment and fell to her knees.
"Sour Bill. Get... get Sour Bill..." Vanellope said. Her breathing was becoming a bit shakier as a result of panic. What was happening to her? If needed, she felt she had enough focus left to glitch them to the castle so it would be easier to find Sour Bill. She didn't know how much longer she could focus, though.

"Okay, okay. I'll go get him." Candlehead replied. "Priscilla, you stay here and watch her ok. You can do that right?"
The girl shot a glare at her sister. "Of ocurse i can. I am not an idiot!"
Candlhead didn't haev time to come back with a sassy comment and just ran to the castle hoping to find Sour Bill.

Dear sweet candy coated gods... what's happening to me?
Her vision was becoming blurred and she was having a hard time focusing on Candlehead's form as she ran to get help. It was a miracle Vanellope was still able to focus on anything at all by that point as she tried to run over what had happened in her mind. The last thing she'd done before feeling funny was glitching herself, Candlehead, and Priscilla to the safe portion of Gumball Canyon. But... how could she have suddenly started feeling ill? What was different?
~Meanwhile, at the castle~
Sour Bill was attending to duties Vanellope had left him in charge of, such as making sure the newest racer had a spot in the random roster lineup should she choose to participate and making sure the oreo guards and doughnut police had received their pay. At present, he was making his way around the throne room to go about making final adjustments to the cleaning he had been doing and generally wasn't paying much attention to what else was going on around him when suddenly, he heard the castle doors openin. The little ball of sour candy turned and faced the doors as they opened, tiny body tensing just in case the castle was being invaded like it had that fateful night so many years ago when things had changed.
The last person Sour Bill had expected to see was Candlehead barging through the doors. Green eyes widened and he quickly waddled over to her. It didn't take a genius to tell that something was wrong; if Vanellope hadn't come back to the castle, then Sour Bill could say with certainty that there was something amiss.
"What's happened?"
It might have been odd, hearing a slight shift to concern in Sour Bill's voice, but that was where it stood. No matter what anyone else said, he couldn't deny that he cared for their President. If something had happened to her...
Please, don't let her be hurt...

"Oh, oooh! I don't know! Oooh, she's really pale and i think somethings wrong with her!" Candlhead said jumping up and down. "S-s-she was just fine awhile ago. OOOH!" the green haired girl was in a state of panic. What else could she do? It was easy to see that she did not handle situations very well.

Sour Bill felt a little pale himself as Candlehead relayed the information. Something wrong with their President? She couldn't have something wrong with her. Vanellope was one of the playable characters! It was fine for an NPC to have something happen to them, but a racer? Having a racer, not to mention their leader, have something go wrong was very bad.
It was fortunate that she hadn't made the random roster for the next day, Sour Bill guessing that the excitement of a new racer had made her thoughts a bit clouded, but what would happen for the next random roster race? Sour Bill supposed they could just carry on without her, but she was the President. She needed to make the announcements for the random roster race's start and such. With those thoughts clouding the little ball of sour candy's head, he really had no choice but to try his best to remain calm and let Candlehead lead the way.
"Take me to her." Sour Bill said. He was having difficulty hiding the concern this time. He was the attendant of the President, after all. It only made sense that he should care for her well being. There was also the well being of the game to worry about, but the President came first right then.
